Great hotel central to everything.

Clean room, comfortable bed walking distance to shops and other amenities.

We booked this room at the last minute, because the hotel we had booked with cancelled our booking while we were on the train to Sheffield. We actually paid £12 less for an executive room, than we would have for our premier plus room, so all in all, not a bad deal. Room was high up and at the back away from traffic so no noise from outside. And our fellow guests didn't disturb us so we had a peaceful night. We'd definitely consider staying here again. Good location. Handy for town and 10-15 minutes walk from the station.

Great service and a comfortable bed but let down by air conditioning locked to 22 degrees with an error code resulting in a stuffy room. Features great access to parking at The Moor multi storey and is a short walk into the city centre proper.

Great reception staff and hospitality was excellent. Breakfast buffet was decent and well looked after. Probably be back soon as also in great location

Food and service was incredibly poor. I ordered a cheese burger and a coca cola (Pepsi) and was charged and given a BBQ burger and a Pepsi Max (diet coke). I waited over 35 minutes before following up with my food and was told there were delays in the kitchen due to large parties from coach trips being served their evening meal meal. I said if I'd known the wait time before ordering, I would have gone elsewhere as I was looking for a quick meal. Rather than apology, this was met with "Well I only just found out too", I'm not sure how or why this is as the seating area the coach trip were in could clearly be seen, and this was not their first night as a pair of them were sat having drinks next to me discussing their previous night at the hotel before going in to dinner. The burger arrived after I chased it up (that's when it became apparent the wrong one had been ordered). I suspect had I not asked, I'd have still been waiting. It was obvious it had been sat under a hot lamp. The member of staff was manning the bar on their own and having to go to the kitchen to follow up - there appeared to be no way for them to be notified that the food was ready and they appeared to lose track of time for those in the bar who ordered to go to the kitchen. If this is the normal system, it doesn't work. There were several other members of staff including a supervisor who appeared to wander in and out several times but weren't really doing anything to support. When the second burger arrived it was hot, but the chips were barely warm, they were probably the same ones that had come out the first time. I was asked if I wanted another drink, but not offered one or any form of compensation for my poor experience. Overall, wish I'd gone to Five Guys or somewhere else and been treated better and had a better quality meal.

Perfect location for all Sheffield attractions. Quality rooms, very clean offering a good choice of coffee and tea. Water was hot, shower great but there was also a bath. Would recommend this hotel for a one night or longer stay as it feels like luxury without the cost.

Paid extortionate price of 333£ for two nights and on both days this is what I got in breakfast ( see pics) . It was long weekend and clearly poorly managed by the staff and shows lack of planning. When I raised it with restaurant staff they redirected me to reception who thenveru tactfully ask me to contact booking dot com which Idid. The most disappointing part is that hotel then refused to take responsibility of the service and breakfast issues at all. Total disappointment! Parking is 11£ / night and 5-7 min away from hotel
