Cwtsh Hostel

A fantastic stay at Cwtsh Hostel. We stayed in a private room with our 3-year-old and found it clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The hostel feels well run, safe, and relaxed, with a great atmosphere that suits all types of travellers. Friendly, helpful staff, good facilities, and excellent value for money. A genuinely great place to stay — we’d happily return and highly recommend it.

The best thing this hostel has is the staff, Adrian and Billy were amazing. But besides that, lower than average beds, lower than average higiene in the kitchen (because of other guests), and very strange people staying here...myself included, of course. Who in their right mind would let me in?

Super great hostel centrally located in Swansea right next to the castle ruins. I’m in a bind so have to keep booking day by day onto day 3 now. The amazing staff let me leave my bags in the morning while sorting out my next move. Highly recommend. The kitchen and lounge is great to to have full acess to a hob/ovens. The only negative is that the beds don’t have privacy curtains standard in other hostels but just use a towel and you’ll be fine.

Basic, no thrills but really a great price and an even better location. You get exactly what you’re expecting but honestly it’s sound and does exactly what you need it to do. If you’re doing a quick stay over for work with a fast turnaround, I fully would recommend it. The single room is spot on. Staff are friendly and kind.

Reece was very hostile and aggressive to me while i was waiting inside for my uber begun shouting and swearing at me and offered me out, shocking behavior

Went on Saturday from coming to Swansea for a Gig around 10 minutes walk from the Hostel. The Lady at the desk was very kind and helped me to get my surroundings in the Hostel before I put my stuff into my Room and went for a walk for a bit before going to Bed. 31 POUNDS FOR A SHARED DORM, Actually really cheap and fortunately I had enough money to pay for it. The first Bed was the top bed which I unfortunately struggled with and had to get help getting down on Sunday Morning due to almost having a panic attack, they're very high up. Luckily the Lady and a man who I assumed also worked at the Hostel helped me down and I luckily got a lower Bunk Bed in a different Dorm but with a lot more people and next to a Window and I could hear people outside until I fell asleep. When I woke up a different person was at the Reception desk but was also very helpful. I spent some time in the Lounge/Kitchen on Sunday Morning trying to wake up before I gave back the entry Cards with the Passcodes to Reception and said thank-you and goodbye. I think I may try and have more money for a personal Room which if I remember Correctly was £85 or something so actually it's quite cheap compared to other places. I think I will come back again. It was lovely to have a different experience to what I'm used to, and for it being so central to Swansea it was very very handy. Thanks. Ted.

Be careful, bed bugs . First time in my life I experienced bed bugs and it’s disgusting. The hostel should be shut down for cleaning. Rating does not correspond to reality

Great value hostel. Bedding was clean and smelt fresh. 24 hour reception and service was friendly. Great location although was a little noisy. Shower was ok and bathroom clean
