The hotel room was very nice with a good sized en suite. It also included an electric fan which in the heatwave was most welcome. There was also ample parking. However when we arrived we were left waiting as only one member of staff on to accommodate to all guests. What wasn’t advertised was that their restaurant is shut on Monday and after a nice evening enjoyed in the local area, we arrived back at 9.10 to be told the bar shuts at 9, which was disappointing to return to. The blind in the room didn’t work properly. As far as a place to sleep, this place would be fine. But at the price they charge you expect a little more and they don’t deliver in that front.

We have been very disappointed by the hotel not honering a gift voucher we were given at Christmas. When I initially checked the website said we could not redeem the voucher until after January but did not say there was an end date. We are a local customer and this is extremely bad practice.

Quiet rural hotel, with bar and fair size restaurant. Good size room and bathroom. Helpful amenities - hairdryer, kettle/coffee and tea facilities. Helpful friendly staff. Nice garden and outside seating. Parking available.
