Auberge Happy Dragon City Center Alley Hotel de la Cité Interdite

The hotel is very well located, close to the metro station, in the Hutong district, an area full of small restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. But what I liked the most was the staff. The receptionists speak good English and are always ready to help you.

Jia Ning and the other staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located in an ideal place, within walking distance to the subway and bustling streets. The rooms are basic but comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast is included - a combination of western and Chinese food. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect location, everything is close (metro, restaurants, shops ...). Very friendly staff that speak English and helps you with everything (very convenient as the first time traveling to China can be overwhelming). Hotel is simple but clean and well kept. Rooms are big enough and comfortable. They provide free water bottles and tea. Recommendable!

In the description this hotel has 24h reception. Is check in available 24h? I have a flight arriving late evening and if that has a delay i want to be sure i can check in.

Tucked away in an alley. The room was good, the bed too. Friendly staff, but they kept asking for a good review. Hello, I’ll decide that for myself. We arranged the transfer to/from the airport. Plus a tour to the wall. There was some confusion regarding the tickets here. It’s only 80 yuan, but I had agreed that they would buy them. Otherwise, I would have bought them at home too. Plenty of restaurants nearby. You could call it dated, but that didn't bother me. It gave the feeling of a youth hostel, but we stayed too short. The takeaway breakfast wasn't anything special.

This is a budget hotel but what a great place to stay. The staff were all friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Yhier English was excellent which was a great help. The rooms were clean and comfortable The location was excellent for the metro system and there were loads of places to eat and drink in the area. Next time I'm in Beijing I'm staying here!

Great location next to Line 5 on the subway and close to lots of places to eat. The rooms are quite basic but clean and comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot. But the best thing was the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. They recommended fabulous places for Peking duck and dumplings and were on hand to help with our taxi when we left at 4.30am! Such wonderful service and always with a smile which was much appreciated! Highly recommend.

After my first visit 1,5 years ago I stayed there again two weeks ago. The main reason why I came back was the staff. The team is quite young and speeks English very well. These people are so friendly, nice and super helpful. Kt is truly amazing. They will contact you a short time before your stazand provide you with all the necessary information like hiw to find thr hotel, necessary information regarding apps and so on. The hotel is just a five minute walk away from the next underground station. In the surrounding area you will find lots of restaurants and shops. The facilities are nkt new, bit well maintained and super clean. I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Don't trust google maps about the location. Hotel personnel can speak English. The hotel is so close to a subway station which can take anywhere in the city.

Delightful stay here. Staff are fantastic. They have a great wall tour shich is vheap enough. Also T square tickets they booked for me because of the wechat wr thing. Took my card on arrival but i definitely should have got alipay before arriving.

We had an amazing experience here. The staff is super attentive and went above and beyond for us. Since the Google Maps address is incorrect, they actually came to find us and guided us to the hotel, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. Our room was surprisingly large and had incredible views of the hutongs, giving us a very authentic Highly recommended for their hospitality
