The location can be a little tricky to get to, especially if there’s a language barrier with your driver. The hostel is tucked inside a secured residential area with very narrow streets and alleys, but once you’re there, it’s quite convenient — about a 5–10 minute walk to several subway stations and surrounded by malls and plenty of eateries. This is not a social hostel. I didn’t really see other foreigners during my stay, and the language barrier makes it hard to meet people or make friends. It feels more like a quiet guesthouse or boutique stay than a typical backpacker hostel. That said, it’s a beautiful property with a cozy indoor-outdoor feel in the common areas. It’s family-owned, and the hosts were super kind — they even helped me set up a few local apps so I could get around more easily. I also loved the tea they provided (no breakfast though, unfortunately). I stayed in a private room, which was really comfortable. The bed was huge and super cozy, though it did take up most of the space — I barely had room to open my suitcase on the floor. I appreciated being able to control the AC, and my window opened and closed properly with a screen. The blackout curtains were nice and thick too. They provided tons of bottled water, so I was never thirsty. WiFi worked well, and the shower had great pressure. They replaced towels often and even provided shower flip-flops, which was a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a calm, relaxing stay. The staff is friendly, the area feels very safe, and it’s perfect for solo travelers who want peace and comfort — just don’t expect a social atmosphere. Keep in mind that taxi or Didi pickups and drop-offs usually happen on the main road since cars can’t always get through the smaller streets. Definitely recommend for a quiet and comfortable stay.

Clean, comfy, close to the metro—would definitely stay here again in Beijing

Since it's close to Beijing Station, I only stayed one night to catch the airport bus from Beijing Station early in the morning. The subway station is also nearby, and it's just within walking distance (30 minutes) to Tiananmen Square, so I took the subway there and walked back to the hostel.

I stayed in a private room. I loved my experience. However, it's difficult to get service in English at reception. The location is a little tricky to find on arrival, but once you're there, everything is easily accessible (the metro is right next door). I would highly recommend it and would definitely return to this hostel.

I stayed there in November 2015.I was checking to see if it was still around. I was pleasantly surprised and if it's still the same. So should you be.

Lovely hostel in a very good location. The entryway, aswell as the staff was very welcoming. They knew some english and always tried to make some conversation. The bathrooms and rooms were pretty clean. There were 3 rooms connected to each other, seperated with a curtain, which made it very easy to hear everyone else. Luckily, I had the last room, so no one would walk through it during the night.
