Beautiful safe space for women! Such a cute cosy environment, exceptionally clean. The wee poodle is a highlight as well. Loves a cuddle!! So cheap to stay and the owner and the girls that work there are unbelievably lovely and kind. Highly recommend.

This place is a BIG NO. The only good part is the location but regarding it's structure there's nothing to praise. I'm really shocked with the good comments and the lack of bad ones. It is small, smelly, unsafe (just a very tiny thin wooden lock in your bed), with uncomfortable bunks, unreasonable rules that are made for you to not go out at night (you cannot use the showers for 12 hours while there! from 10am until 4pm! - big hostels have this sometimes but this place is just one cramped floor and two showers for 13 people! THEN also cannot use the shower after 11pm until 6am! this extra one is crazy, how you do not shower after arriving from a bar or clubbing? This is a very lively area and next to shinjuku). rude girls that pack until 2 am and open their curtains with so much strength you wouldn't believe. there was snoring and outside was also loud. I had my earplugs but it's the first time I take them out in Japan (I've been here more than 2 months). Usually it is provided or everyone is super respectful.. here they charge... They charge for everything although I payed the most expensive price for hostels until now...For 6k yen per night you would expect at least towels. If it was 3k I would think I payed for a very uncomfortable place in a good location. But 6k was just non sense. The hair conditioner left my hair dry, and the toilet paper is the cheapest...my big luggage was left downstairs because there's not much space, there's stairs and they are precious about their floor saying you should not use your wheels there. I had read a comment of a girl saying it was the best place she ever stayed, but this would only hold ground if she was previously homeless and her other hostels were shelters.

My favorite hostel ever. This place instantly felt so much like home. Such a great location in koenji, walking distance to the train and a bunch of cute vintage shops. It has everything you need and is super clean and convenient. The owner is the sweetest and really made my stay in Tokyo so special. Met some lovely girls here too! Would definitely come back.

Incredible location and a very lovely and comfortable hostel. The facilities and very convenient and well maintained and I slept amazing in the larger than average sized bed. The only things I would be concerned about if booking is that the luggage storage is pretty small and especially difficult to access if you’ve got a top shelf. Understandable because the hostel itself is very small and I managed fine for my 5 nights here on a top luggage shelf. If you’re the sort of person that needs to access your bag a lot or you have trouble planning for the next day what you’ll need, pick a bed with a bottom shelf luggage storage. It was also a little frustrating not being able to use the showers after 10am. I appreciated how clean the hostel was but 10 felt very early to start cleaning as a lot of people were still trying to use the bathrooms or the kitchen at this time. It would be nice if cleaning could be done at 11 or 12 instead. Really the only criticism I have though, I felt super comfortable and at home here. Would 100% book again. :)
