The exterior, a blend of wood and metal, is understated yet timeless; the entrance, though small, feels like a space that knows how to leave room for reflection, instantly creating a comfortable atmosphere. Stepping into the lobby, the atmosphere changes completely. The reception staff speak with relaxed, natural ease, unhurriedly, like friends familiar with the city's rhythm. The space is not overly decorated, yet it exudes a "just right" comfort, offering complimentary hot tea to guests. The delicate design of the guest rooms is subtly incorporated into every corner. Opening the door reveals wooden floors and warm yellow lighting that instantly create a relaxing atmosphere. The furniture features clean, crisp lines, devoid of superfluous decoration, yet the meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship characteristic of Taiwanese design is evident throughout. The long table is perfect for displaying laptops, cameras, and travel notes, and the bedside reading lamp offers just the right amount of brightness without being glaring. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom have stable water pressure, one of the most thoughtful details. These aren't luxurious touches, but rather thoughtful touches. It's the kind of comfort that makes you want to come back. Stepping out of Home Hotel is the most charming area of ​​Xinyi District. Department stores, Songshan Creative Park, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, cafes, bars, boutiques… every street has its own rhythm, and every corner holds a surprise. Xinyi District is even more enchanting at night, with neon lights reflecting off glass curtain walls, clean streets, and a slightly sweet, damp scent in the air. Walking back to the hotel, you'll understand that the greatest luxury of travel isn't the sights, but the space to stop and relax. Home Hotel isn't the most grand or the most ostentatious hotel. Stayed at Home Hotel Taipei and unfortunately had a very mixed experience. Rating this 2 stars because of the location. TLDR; The location is convenient and walkable to the Xinyi shopping district, which was a plus. However, the room air quality was very bad, very humid and moldy. I kept sneezing and the next day I had rashes on my skin. If you have allergies please do not stay here. The lobby was very small and felt quite cramped. The room itself was disappointing. There was a strong musky/moldy smell throughout the room, and I noticed visible mold in multiple areas. 🤢🤮 The tissue holder had a large amount of black mold and looked extremely old and outdated, I ended up removing the tissue plastic box from it because I felt disgusted using it. The rubber silicone around the sink area also had visible mold growth. (Attached the photos) the shower area & aircon vents had mold too which I did not take photos During my stay, I developed rashes, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The bath towel provided also had stains on it, raising further hygiene concerns. Guests should also note that this hotel is located in a nightclub/party area, so it can get very noisy at night, especially if your room faces the street. Service was also disappointing. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, and despite the heavy rain, nobody assisted us with our luggage to the car. Overall, while the location is good, the cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards did not meet expectations.

The hotel staff were very attentive and patient; I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Guys be attention! Here this hotel team doing scams! Before arrival they ask during checkin extra 500 bht if you not pay they seize your passport . Secondly if you looking for small thing from breakfast they will charge entire buffet price . Reception team make us fool for everything so like we don't know anything. There is no customer values ,paying more for a room that does not worth it . Receptionist girls don't know how to speak with customer . Please give training first to them . Saying no will give your reputation first. Rooms does not have sports channel. Cold freeze switch remove from plug in . Its like we just spoiled money . Guys thing before come to this property . Near by you find good hotel also hostel near.

Great location, fair price – but comfort is seriously lacking. The location is great, the price is fair, and it’s convenient – but unfortunately, the comfort is unacceptable. The air conditioning is centrally controlled. We changed rooms, and an engineer even came to block the airflow, but we still couldn’t sleep at night. It felt like the building was probably refitted from an office space, not designed for proper hotel comfort. As a result, both of us caught a bad flu right after the trip. Good location means nothing when you can’t rest. Would not recommend if you value sleep and health.

The Sleep No More next door is very noisy after 10 PM, especially with bass noises that make the windows vibrate. I just want to get a good night's sleep, please don't stay here.

The service was terrible! For a hotel located in the Xinyi District, such poor service for such an expensive night...

We stayed in a stunning king-size suite without breakfast. Check-in was possible around 2:30 PM on Friday, but we forgot to mention or indicate our need for a higher floor beforehand. We were given room 512, which faces the nightclub/bar area and has a view of Taipei 101. However, I really, really, really wouldn't recommend it to travelers with normal schedules who don't go out late, especially if you have children or elderly people traveling with you... We unpacked some things upon arrival and were rushing out early the next morning, so we didn't ask for a room change. However, the nightclub music from 10 PM to 4 AM was incredibly disruptive... The room space and furniture were quite nice, but the hot water was slow to come out. They provided two 400 NTD drink vouchers for Renn Bistronomy, and there was live music that night (the singer was Leo, highly recommended!).
