What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent service and delicious breakfast, with staff and chefs receiving specific commendation. However, a common complaint is the significant noise from nearby bars and clubs, making it difficult for light sleepers to rest, and some guests have also noted issues with room air quality and a lack of a gym.

About this place Home Hotel Da-An

Home Hotel is a design-focused accommodation option in Taipei's Da-An district, positioned as a gay-friendly choice for LGBTQ+ travellers. Located at 1 Section 4, Ren'ai Road, the hotel sits within convenient reach of Ximending, home to the Red House—Taipei's well-known gay cultural hub featuring bars, shops, and community spaces. This placement makes it an appealing base for visitors looking to explore the city's LGBTQ+ scene. As a design hotel, the property emphasizes contemporary aesthetics and style in its accommodation offering. Guests can expect modern furnishings and thoughtful interior design typical of this category. The gay-friendly positioning means the hotel welcomes and caters to LGBTQ+ guests, though it remains an inclusive space for all travellers. Da-An is one of Taipei's central and walkable districts, offering easy access to dining, shopping, and cultural attractions beyond the immediate gay venues. Staying here provides a good balance between being close to LGBTQ+ nightlife and entertainment while remaining connected to the broader city. For more information about amenities, room types, and current offerings, visitors can check the hotel's website at homehotel.com.tw.

Check-in: May 22nd - Check-out: May 25th During my stay: The service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast staff and chefs all provided excellent service and deserve praise.

Great location and decent sized rooms but in need of a deep clean or refresh. My room had a heavy inspect spray smell. The staff promptly changed my room but the 2nd had the same although to a lesser degree. For someone with a sensitive nose , I wouldn't stay again until they fix this.

The location is very controversial - while it is very close to 101 and within Xinyi district, at night (even on weekday nights, let alone weekend midnights) it would be very noisy as bars are right next to it. Also dislike the fact that it does not come with a gym room in the hotel.
