Hôtel Ibsens

The staff were fantastic and were so great to provide recommendations for places to go see, eat, and shop. They also helped with placing reservations at restaurants for us. The room was clean and well-kept. Finally, loved their cozy hour!

Very central location, a well-run and friendly hotel that puts a smile on your face. Fantastic breakfast!

The room is small but comfortable. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly, and the complimentary drinks in the lobby from 5-6 pm are a great idea after a long day exploring Copenhagen. The location is also good. In my case, the room on the second floor overlooked an internal area used as a hallway to access breakfast or other areas. The problem is that both guests and staff use it frequently from early in the morning, and the door makes a noise when it closes that really disturbed my rest. They should do something about that door because the noise it makes is constant, and it's quite close to the rooms below.

Ibsens is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. As an academic I travel alone a lot, arriving in strange cities for short stays. From the first interaction with the bright and attentive desk staff, I felt at home here. This continued through all my interactions with staff on the desk, but also housekeeping staff. Staff know their jobs and the hotel extremely well, nothing is a hassle. In contrast to large hotels, I felt like the staff were genuinely personable. The diversity and good humour of the staff really stands out. The shared areas of the hotel are comfortable, nicely decorated and they play (discrete) music which helped me work. Coffee and pastries excellent. Location excellent. Room had an interesting design, very comfortable, and silent. Room was cleaned and tidied to perfection every day. Bike hire is straightforward. I have been singing this place's praises and will continue to do so.

The rooms aren't the newest and might be a bit on the small side, but the location is ideal. The city center is within walking distance. The service is perfect, with sociable staff who are happy to help with suggestions for activities. The rooms are cleaned well. There is also a cozy hour to meet new people, during which you receive a free drink.

A wonderful hotel. This is evident in so many details. Design and service come together perfectly. The staff is attentive and attentive, offering friendly and proactive service. The hotel is lovingly furnished and enlivened with great ideas. The breakfast room is a prime example: organized, well-structured, clean, and full of good cheer. Everyone works hard to make the morning the best it can be, and there's a very diverse selection. I'm deducting one star for the room because the bed is quite small for two adults, and despite asking for a room facing the street, we were given one that faced the courtyard. But otherwise, it was the best stay one could wish for.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough , great location , amazing staff , lovely bar and not badly priced either . Already planning my trip back here .

The hotel is well located. The entire hotel is carpeted. Unfortunately, there are some signs of wear and tear. However, the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was served in the "King Arthur" Hotel (just across the courtyard). I haven't had such a great breakfast in a hotel for a long time.
