First time visit to the wonderful city of Copenhagen and we booked the Ibsens hotel, based on previous reviews and the location to the train/metro station. From the initial friendly welcome all staff had individual, warm and friendly personalities which you don’t often get at some hotels. We had a fifth floor room and wide opening windows which allowed for plenty of fresh air. The beds were comfortable. Shower/bathroom had complementary toiletries. Our room was serviced daily. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh items. From eggs, sausages, potatoes, salad, over night oats. The fresh coffee was delicious. You could also order a latte etc. fresh juices. Oh and of course fresh Danish pastry of the day. A nice surprise was free drink per person daily between 5-6pm in the reception/bar area. The atmosphere was friendly and chatty. All in all we would definitely return. Door to door it was 30 mins back to the airport. 10 min walk and 20 mins on the metro.

My room was so quiet, charming and comfortable! I was on the top floor facing the courtyard and I never heard a neighbor. The staff is all so friendly. The restaurant is INCREDIBLE! Hygge hour is so fun and the local juice is fantastic. Truly a great value and will definitely return. The only downside was that being on the 6th floor with no air conditioning was hot in April (avg daily temp 50 F). I can't imagine how hot it will be in July. I wish they had lighter blankets. All 4 of us were way too hot for a duvet. But that is a small thing for how wonderful it was!
