A haven of peace, just steps from the train station and the wonderful botanical garden.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is discreet yet ideal, the decor is exquisite, the bedding is very comfortable, and the staff is incredibly attentive. Thank you for this lovely stay.

A lovely, charming, and peaceful spot on the edge of the Jardin des Plantes and just steps from the train station and the historic center. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Warning: the hotel does not have parking! You have to walk 15 minutes after parking your vehicle in the nearest parking lot. The restaurants are also far from the hotel (there is no restaurant on site). The rooms are freezing cold, like everything else, equipped like a budget hotel: cardboard cups, no refrigerator, poorly laid out, no storage, no wardrobe... There is no service; you have to carry your own luggage. The location next to the train station is not very safe. I would not recommend this "hotel" because you're better off staying home!

We received a very warm welcome and shared a romantic moment with my sweetheart at the Sozo Hotel Spa! Hammam, sauna, sensory shower, products and drinks just for us! A truly wonderful break, we'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay as a couple. Although modern art isn't particularly to my taste, it's perfectly integrated into the space and adds a real touch of class to this magnificent place. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room was impeccably maintained down to the smallest detail. And a lovely little extra touch awaited us in the room. It was very thoughtful. A unique place that's well worth a visit.

The positives: beautiful, well-renovated, charming premises, comfortable beds, welcome tray in the room replenished daily, separate toilet, excellent location, botanical gardens directly opposite, 4-minute walk to the train and tram station, 10-minute walk to the Château des Ducs and the LU Tower, and 13-minute walk to the city center – everything is close to the hotel, no need for a car 👌👍💪, friendly and attentive staff. The downsides: the room was a bit cramped (temptation!), there was no luggage rack, but given the limited space, the electrical outlet wasn't ideal for connecting a breathing apparatus, especially on the right-hand side (luckily we brought an extension cord). There was a soundproofing issue; the neighboring room could hear laughter, arguments, and especially sexual activity (but it was very quick, thankfully) 🫢. Be careful, the shower door isn't waterproof; there was water on the floor when you get out. The breakfast, despite the choice for €22, needs improvement, especially the very dry scrambled eggs. Consider replacing the bread knife; we couldn't cut it properly at the end of the slice 😉. Overall, we still had a good time. Thank you. 👌

a hotel placed in a former church - really unique experience :-) to a city center, it's a short pleasant walk - you can go trough a park that is opposite the hotel. tram stop is nearby and the main train station as well.
