Hôtel Lyskirchen

Dreadful hotel. I travelled around Europe and this was by far the worst hotel. Staff were unhelpful and rude. Check in experience was awful. Swimming pool was dirty and couldnt use sauna as was turned off. A sign on door saying you need to request use and pay a fee. Unhelpful when in your swimwear and no way of reaching out. Floor was dangerously slippy with no warning. Stay away from here.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool had seen better days and the water was quite cold. The room wasn't cleaned properly. We found (without searching) hair on the shower tiles and toothpaste stains on the outside of the sink. There were also stains on the nightstands. The WiFi wasn't working properly so you had to reconnect alot and when you had connection it was slow. Our room was located next to the street. Even with earplugs you could hear certain traffic. The airco wasn't cooling the room down and only worked if you were in your room and had a card in the slot.

In the Altstadt very close to all important sightseeings. Very functional room (unfortunately no fridge)

Reception was a do-it-yourself affair. Check-in was at a terminal. A shame. The elevator had been renovated. Room on the 3rd floor... with luggage. The second elevator did go to the 3rd floor, but access to our building was only via the 1st floor.

The hotel is 3 stars, but I give it 4 for the friendliness of the staff. Old furniture, but comfortable and clean bed in the room. A bit strange to see the sink and shower in the room next to the bed. Otherwise, for 2 nights it was decent.

A parking space had been reserved for me in the underground garage, so I didn't have to worry about finding one. Unfortunately, the elevator was being renovated, so we had to take some stairs. The building is a bit of a maze, so signs with room numbers and directional arrows at the different stairwells would be helpful. The room was pleasantly and functionally furnished, with a balcony. It was clean, and the fact that there was a kettle and a coffee machine was a very nice touch! I also really liked the swimming pool's opening hours, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., although the water could have been a bit warmer. The hotel's location is truly excellent; everything is within walking distance! Fantastic! The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would gladly return!

This was our third stay at Hotel Lyskirchen. It was, as always, very good. The location, with its short walk to the Rhine, is also excellent. The staff were, as always, very friendly and competent.

A very nice and, above all, centrally located hotel that is nevertheless quiet. Within sight of the Rhine. Just a few minutes from the old town. With a lovely swimming pool and gym.

They're doing everything right here. Of course, online check-in should be possible.
