The only good thing about this hotel is the gentleman at reception who stayed longer so we could check in. The location is far from "comfortable," and I wouldn't book here as a woman traveling alone. It definitely needs renovation; the bathroom fixtures are loose, and there are dust bunnies hanging everywhere. The balcony was full of trash, the stairwell smelled awful, and the entire hotel clearly hadn't been cleaned in months. The doors showed signs of attempted break-ins. And the biggest rip-off, as mentioned, is the pictures on Booking.com and the hotel's website! NEVER AGAIN!

The pictures are probably from the new building. It looks very run-down. Neither clean nor in good working order. The balcony isn't nice, and the furniture is dirty and damaged. I wanted to leave the room immediately. The bathroom is tiny, and screws are hanging out of the wall. The air quality is poor. At least the towels and bed linens were clean. For the price, I'd say you can get something better. I wouldn't stay there again.

You can sleep and shower here! Don't expect any service! I won't be back!

Stay away from here. The photos on Google and booking.com are outdated. This hotel is dilapidated, dirty, and unkempt. I had a street-facing room. It made no difference whether the windows were open or closed. There is a lot of street noise that disturbs your sleep. It is not a pleasant neighborhood to go for a meal in the evening. There is trash everywhere in the parking lot. You cannot have breakfast there because the restaurant is supposedly under renovation. A shadow of its former glory that should be closed down.

It was a functional overnight stay; the room was a good size, but unfortunately the bed wasn't comfortable. It creaked every time I turned over, and the mattress was really thin and too hard. Cleanliness was acceptable, and the furnishings were a bit dated. Breakfast was apparently offered, but we hadn't booked it, so I can't comment on that. For the price, though, it was okay for one night. The staff was friendly.

Overall, I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for good, affordable accommodation without having to completely forgo comfort. Of course, you can tell in some places that the hotel isn't brand new. There are a few minor signs of wear and tear here and there, for example on the furniture or in the bathroom, but that didn't bother me at all. Everything was clean, tidy, and functional, which is much more important to me than a pristine, modern look. You can tell that they make an effort to keep the rooms well-maintained. I'd particularly like to highlight the truly friendly and helpful staff. I felt welcome, and that makes a big difference to me. Especially in a budget hotel, service isn't always a given. The location was also convenient for me, but you should be prepared for the neighborhood. The basic amenities are perfectly adequate for a few days' stay. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. I'd also like to address some of the negative reviews, which, to be honest, I don't quite understand. Many complain that the hotel isn't super modern or that the neighborhood doesn't meet their expectations. But you really have to keep the price in mind. I therefore find it somewhat unfair to give a cheap hotel a bad review just because it doesn't meet the standards of an expensive hotel. The value for money here is absolutely fine. You get clean accommodation, a comfortable bed, and friendly staff, all at a really good price. In short: If you're looking for an affordable hotel and can overlook minor cosmetic flaws, you'll find solid accommodation here with very nice service. I would definitely come back.

My stay at the hotel was very positive. Although the property is currently undergoing renovations, the owner makes every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and welcome. Their dedication and attention to detail are evident, which definitely enhances the overall experience. Another advantage is the attractive, adequate price, which makes the stay very worthwhile. The hotel's convenient location in Dortmund is also worth mentioning, making it easy to get around the city and access key attractions. This is certainly a place worth recommending, especially for those who value good value for money and a friendly atmosphere.

The shabbiest hotel I've ever seen in my life, and at a ridiculously overpriced rate because of a football match in town. The location and surroundings are also not recommended and don't inspire confidence, let alone a sense of home. It's littered and neglected everywhere you look. The hotel is in a very poor and miserable state. The patio door showed signs of attempted break-ins, and even with the door closed, a slight push almost opened it (and this is on a continuous balcony, easily accessible to anyone from that side). The bed is uncomfortable, and you wouldn't want to shower there either. The backyard is absolutely filthy and full of trash. I can only advise everyone to steer clear of this hotel and sleep in a tent somewhere outside the city instead.

We were there for the Champions League match yesterday. The room is a bit dated, but still okay. The location was perfect for the stadium (20 minutes by subway).

The outside is a disaster. The inside is a bit better. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms, but the balcony is a disaster. The neighborhood is terrible – not a single German within a dozen or so kilometers.
