Hôtel Bellevue Dresden Bilderberg

The rooms are great and spacious; ours even had a bathtub! There's no minibar, but there is a refrigerator. The location is excellent, right on the Elbe River, and you can reach the old town in 19 minutes. The bar is a bit old-fashioned and lacks atmosphere, but the selection of drinks is extensive. Breakfast is rather average and quite expensive at €24 per person. The next day, we had breakfast in town.

The park outside is lovely. You can take a wonderful walk right along the Elbe River. The price-performance ratio isn't quite right at the moment. Construction starts at the parking lot and continues past the reception area to the elevator. You can't hear it in the rooms, but you can hear the neighbors. I could clearly hear them showering. The view of the Elbe from the first floor was barely possible and was obstructed by solar panels. Dinner was good. Breakfast was okay, but I expected more. Lunch wasn't really to my liking. The bar doesn't really deserve the name. The service was friendly. The reception staff seemed overwhelmed at times when dealing with complaints about the construction. There was a long line and wait at check-in. I'm still giving it three stars because of the location and the beautiful grounds. Presumably, everything will be great again once the construction is finished. It would be good to inform guests about the construction beforehand, instead of only upon arrival.

They offer two hotspots, but the Wi-Fi signal in the room is extremely weak.

Shame about the renovation Parking absurdly expensive

The room is renovated, quiet, and clean. The bathroom is still stuck in the 90s with a bathtub. Fantastic view of the old town across the Elbe! There's ample parking to the left and right of the hotel, as well as an underground garage, but €24 is quite steep. There's currently construction on the ground floor, but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast rooms are like a train station – noisy and uncomfortable. The breakfast itself is very extensive. However, it wasn't possible to get sparkling water. Egg dishes couldn't be ordered; they were only available from the buffet. At this price point (€240/double room), I expect more. The proximity to the sights is great. I can only recommend it with reservations; it's ideal for those who value short distances.
