TOP CCL Hotel Essener

Our stay at the Hotel Essener Hof was very pleasant overall. The reception was warm and friendly, making us feel welcome immediately. The room was comfortably furnished, the bed very comfortable, and thanks to the air conditioning, it remained pleasantly cool even on warmer days. The quiet and cozy atmosphere was particularly noteworthy and made our stay very relaxing. However, a few minor issues in the room could easily be resolved: the curtain wasn't hanging properly on its hook, some old drill holes could be filled, and there was a hair left on the bathroom wall from the previous guest. These are only small things, but they could easily be fixed with a little more attention. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

This was by far one of the best hotel stays I've ever experienced! I received an incredibly warm welcome right from check-in – I immediately felt at home. The staff was consistently professional, helpful, and always in good spirits. No matter what my question was, a solution was found immediately. The room was simply perfect: very clean, modernly furnished, and designed with great attention to detail. The bed was extremely comfortable, so I slept wonderfully every night. The bathroom was also immaculate and equipped with high-quality fixtures. Breakfast was a real highlight! A wide selection of fresh, delicious food – there was something for everyone. I especially appreciated the quality of the products and the beautiful presentation. The hotel's location is also ideal: quiet, yet well-connected, so you can reach everything quickly. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Everything was just right – service, cleanliness, comfort, and atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

A very clean and spacious hotel. Self check-in is possible, and they cater to special requests at breakfast. You practically step out of your hotel room and into Essen train station. I'd gladly stay here again!

Clean and quiet hotel right next to the train station.

Great city hotel with a very friendly reception; check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was pleasant, quiet, and easy to darken. Everything was provided and functional, even if the decor is a bit reminiscent of the 90s – but overall, it was fine. The bed had a very good mattress, so I slept comfortably. The only downside was that housekeeping was out in the hallway early, which unfortunately meant the room door didn't insulate against the noise sufficiently. The room and bathroom were clean and in good condition overall, however, housekeeping could be a bit more attentive, as there was an open bottle left in the room by the previous guest. Breakfast was very good and offered everything you could want. Here, too, the staff was very friendly, greeting guests and attentive. The location is also good: right next to the train station and near the shopping street. Despite this, there's very little noise, and you always feel safe. Parking is available in a parking garage about 100 meters away. We would gladly return.
