Thermas at Via San Gregorio 35 is the flagship of Milan's sauna scene — the largest, best equipped and most visited men-only gay sauna in northern Italy. The facility covers multiple floors: a Finnish dry sauna, a Turkish steamroom, a swimming pool (one of very few in an Italian gay sauna), a large darkroom labyrinth, individual private cabins, a bar-café area, and a lounge with cinema screen. The crowd is broad in age range and body type, reflecting the sauna's location at the heart of Porta Venezia — regulars from the neighbourhood alongside visitors from across Italy and Europe. The facilities are maintained to a high standard and the space is genuinely spacious compared to most Italian equivalents. Special theme nights run on the first Friday of each month. Thermas is open 24 hours Thursday through Monday and from 15:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lockers, towel hire and a modest bar are included in the entry price.
