Queer Voices International Film Festival

Queer Voices is Chișinău's first and only international LGBTQ+ film festival, dedicated to showcasing powerful films that explore queer identities, stories, and experiences. Since its inception in January 2019, the festival has aimed to create a platform for queer voices to be expressed and heard within Moldova's cultural landscape. It seeks to engage artists with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, fostering open communication and including queer visions in Moldovan cultural life.

The festival typically screens a range of feature films and documentaries from around the world, offering attendees a diverse cinematic experience. It provides an opportunity to engage with complex themes and narratives that are often underrepresented. The vibe is one of cultural exploration, community building, and advocacy through art.
