Rotterdam Pride est la deuxième plus grande pride des Pays-Bas — une célébration qui mêle un défilé fluvial sur le Rotte à un festival de rue dans le centre, sur fond extraordinaire d'architecture moderniste. L'événement se tient en septembre, dans la foulée naturelle de la Canal Parade d'Amsterdam pour les visiteurs qui prennent le train de 40 minutes entre les deux villes. La pride de Rotterdam a un caractère plus local et moins dominé par les touristes : la communauté LGBTQ+ locale est plus visiblement au cœur de la fête. Le défilé fluvial emprunte les voies d'eau urbaines, bateaux décorés transportant groupes communautaires et associations devant le front d'eau réhabilité. Le festival se concentre dans le quartier culturel de Witte de Withstraat, intégrant la culture galeries et bars existante à la programmation pride. Le contexte architectural — l'Erasmusbrug illuminée la nuit, les Cube Houses en arrière-plan, la Markthal comme lieu festival — donne à Rotterdam Pride une identité visuelle entièrement sienne.
