Hôtel MyContinental Sibiu

Our ten-day Romanian holiday started in Sibiu, and we stayed two nights at Hotel My Continental. The location is fantastic; it's a five-minute walk from the underpass to the main square. The reception staff were very polite and helpful; they tried to assist us with everything. The room was spotless. We stayed on the third floor, and our room had a city view. It was also pristine, the minibar was full, and they greeted us with a surprise of champagne and chocolates. The bathroom was very clean, the towels were spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We loved the hotel. There was a restaurant downstairs that served until midnight. The breakfast room was large, and the breakfast was quite sufficient.

Centrally located. Professional reception, good English, no complaints. Good breakfast. There's a bar. Parking available.

Nice hotel. Good service. Everything is a bit outdated. Breakfast was good. The air conditioning worked, but it wasn't hot in the room.

Ibis under a new name. The rooms are tiny, who installed the toilets??? Hobbits??? Absolutely unacceptable. The breakfast area, or rather the dining room, is reminiscent of a train station: loud, uncomfortable, and with terrible acoustics. Breakfast itself was okay. Everything is functional, nothing more and nothing less, and relatively expensive for what it is. Parking in front of the hotel is public and subject to a fee. The machine doesn't accept card payments. You have to insert cash first(!) and then select a time slot to receive your ticket.
