A super 5-star hostel. Conveniently located, with free parking in the courtyard and a great shawarma place nearby. I've been here five times already. The receptionists are fantastic. They're always helpful, give advice, and go the extra mile. The best receptionists are Daniil and Alinochka. The room is always clean, with crisp, soft white linens. The price is fantastic. I highly recommend it! You won't regret it!

The receptionists play loud music at night, yell, and always smell of cigarettes, which is why the entire stairwell smells. They enter underage children's rooms without knocking or any warning, which is illegal. They swear, are rude, and can fine you for no reason. I really didn't like it. I won't be back.

I spent a long time choosing a hostel to visit this wonderful city, and I wasn't wrong. I'd like to praise the staff; they're always willing to help. Special thanks to the girl at the front desk, unfortunately I didn't remember her name, but she complimented me on my T-shirt when I checked in. :) The interior is beautiful and always clean. I only peeked into the kitchen once because I ate in the cafeteria across the street, but everything was neat. The shower has a good hairdryer; most likely because it was off-season, I never had to queue for a shower; there are only three stalls, by the way. I was worried my suitcase and briefcase wouldn't fit in the locker, but it's large, so everything was fine. I was lucky with my roommates; they were quiet girls, or maybe I was the only one there. I'm glad they have all-female dorms. Reviews mentioned fines, but I don't know what kind of person you have to be to incur them... The rules are absolutely reasonable. I had a pleasant experience, and I'll definitely be back here in the future.

Terrible service. I stayed here to see Russia's second capital for the first time. Instead of providing proper service, the staff screwed up and issued me a bunch of fines, etc. Totally awful, I don't recommend staying here.

The administration is rude and insolent, barges in and ruins the whole holiday mood.

This is my second time staying here. I'll be back for a third. Everything is perfect. Pleasant atmosphere, beautiful interior, convenient (for me) location. Coffee shops are nearby, a Pyaterochka supermarket is nearby, and the metro is a 10-minute walk away. It's quite affordable. I was worried it would be chilly in October, but it wasn't. It was actually a bit hot. The staff is pleasant, everyone is friendly and helpful.

I once witnessed the strangest situation of my life here. The shower is communal, like in the army. There are no separate stalls, so you just walk in and wash with everyone else, hanging it on a hook and that's it. Luckily, there are partitions. I'm washing my hands at the sink, and to the right is a doorless shower with two guys standing naked. A shower, a normal thing, drying themselves. A cleaning lady comes in and opens the door. It was Sector B. She turns up the heat, goes to the sink, and yells at these guys, "Cleaning!" They're shocked, covering themselves with a towel. I'm shocked too. She seemed completely unfazed. What a nightmare, a grown woman. The hostel itself is a prison: lots of passages between floors, no proper ventilation, the curtains in the rooms are barely hanging. In short, a mental hospital. The administrator was yelling on the phone, arguing with someone, and couldn't check us in on time.

This is my third or fourth time staying at this hostel. It's very large, but there are plenty of common areas. Everything is fine: good bedding, curtains on the beds, very roomy and comfortable shelves at the head of the bed, a spacious common area and kitchen. Keys open the front door and locker. When I go to St. Petersburg, if I don't know where to go, I always come to this hostel.
