Le FIRE!!! Barcelona LGTBIQ+ Film Festival fête ses 31 ans en 2026. Ce fut le premier festival de cinéma queer d'Espagne, et il propose toujours un large programme de longs métrages, de documentaires et de courts métrages. Il aborde la diversité sexuelle sous des angles culturels, cinématographiques et sociaux.
Le thème de 2026 est "mille et une histoires queer". Attendez-vous à un fort accent sur le cinéma arabe et persan, ainsi qu'à des sections dédiées au cinéma trans, aux films internationaux et aux nouveaux réalisateurs.
La plupart des projections ont lieu à l'Institut Français de Barcelone. Casal Lambda organise le festival, qui est devenu un lieu privilégié pour découvrir des films d'auteur, et pour échanger sur la diversité, la mémoire, l'activisme et la liberté créative.
