An extremely unpleasant awakening on the day of our departure. At 8:27 a.m., while we were still asleep, someone banged very loudly and repeatedly on our door, enough to jolt us awake. We genuinely thought there was an emergency, a fire, or some other immediate danger. When I opened the door, it turned out to be the cleaning staff, who simply said, "It's for cleaning. Can you leave?" I replied that no, check-out was at 10:00 a.m., and we were still asleep. Despite this, we received no apology or even a polite word; they simply left. This behavior is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to guests who were still in their rooms and perfectly within the permitted hours.
Top apartments! If you're okay with everything being handled via email and access code, it's highly recommended. Location right next to the Breitenrain tram stop (3 minutes).
Everything was great at the Alpenblick Bern – it was a typical hotel. I just couldn't wrap my head around one mathematical detail. Two people, three nights, four coffee capsules. Someone clearly didn't want to separate the numbers 2, 3, and 4. How about 2, 3, and 6 next time? Surely the 6 would have been happy to join the 2 and 3. There was plenty of sugar, but no milk for the coffee. My conclusion: Everything was great, but coffee capsules and milk would have been a welcome addition for a 5-star rating.
Hole in the walls Heard people on the other side
The hotel didn’t had the heater open, we contact with them through air bnb app and the didn’t answer us. This is unacceptable! Also they didn’t had a hair dryer how is this possible?
