Hôtel Savoy Blackpool

Booked at last minute. Cheap room so get what you pay for

Pro's, Orange juice was nice at breakfast. That's about all you can say about it, this isn't a quality place, it's run down to the bones. The lift doesn't work, it's dated, really really dated and isn't maintained to any standard, the room reminds me of my first bedsit. Breakfast finished at 9am on a Bank holiday morning, check out was 10am, no idea why it's so early. The only thing I can say was the staff on reception seemed nice.

The hotel is definitely needed upgraded even though the beds were clean enough. The breakfast was the only thing edible ,dinner was terrible. Lift broke down Saturday morning and not being fixed until Monday .Not very handy when you've got mobilty issues and have to go up 2 or 3 flights of stairs .Although I was offered to be moved to another hotel but as all my company of 9 were at the original hotel .I did appreciate the offer of the move. The staff were very nice and helpful

Had a fire also multiple alarms in the night a bird got in my room outside my room there’s a machine that makes to much noise neighbours having abusive relationship

Coach trip here & visit Lakes. Right on the seafront

Just got back from another amazing 2 night stay. The place looks so nice with the upgrades it's having and the food was amazing as always. Thank you to all the staff so friendly and helpful. The weather was a bonus with the sun out. See you again soon

Just checked in…. Gosh what have we walked into, absolutely no thank you! Fancy a shower after your long drive? Well you have a lovely choice of - hot water orrrrrr hot water… but if you want a bath your only aloud an ice bath! How refreshing. Bizarre…. Not sure how this place is still running? Cheap but not cheerful I’m afraid… If you like your quiet, don’t bother as you can hear everyone around you… Staff? I’m not sure they even know they work here… Reminds me of a American horror story episode… or the shining 😁 Comfy bed though..

Rooms are ok, if you're looking just to put your head down apart from that I wouldn't bother, seen better hostels to be honest. You can see where they tried to decorate the room I was in at some point but it looks very tired and doesn't look great and a bit shabby. The over head door closer on the door in the corridors feel off and 2 screws came flying out as I opened it, could have been very dangerous. Reported it to reception and was fixed when I went back to the room later The fire alarm was taped up with gaffa tape, so obviously not working 😬. Food was very basic. Some of it was ok, I've had better school dinners to be honest. Would I stay here again, No

Location is good as right next to the tram stop. The room was terrible. Could hardly close the curtains, and the pillows were lumpy. You could hear every door bang shut and was very noisy at night when trying to sleep. The tv was on a slant! Our room was right next to some scaffolding which whistled in the wind. Won’t be rushing back.

Amazing Hotel

Really pleased with our stay at the Savoy Blackpool Let me get the negative stuff out the way first Location wasn't great - no shops close by Rated a 5 still as a hotel can't walk - Its a listed building- NOT the hotels fault nothing is either side Food wasn't great, But it was good enough for 12 quid. Coffee was terrible though lol . The machine was as old as Gods dog- You could hire a Sassy coffee machine for 30 quid a week and the coffee beans are top(Havana beans are only 12 quid a bag though 👌 Room had a few issues but overall was fine Nice and big for a family of 4 Bar ! - felt like God's waiting room No vending machines Im a fat lad Late night chocolate and crisps :) The positives Staff - reception was brilliant Easy check in Banter on point Conversation perfect and enough And above all freindly in general (Thanks everyone) Room a great size for us Really clean Huge tv Great price Kids loved it Despite the negatives 5 out of 5 because the positives and staff was far more important than the negatives Looks like money is now being spent in this hotel from the top. Keep an open mind Its not the Ritz Buts it's bloody good value 👏 I will come again with my hoodie the son got for me :) Thank you ever so much !
