Hôtel Leeds Marriott

Everyone at this hotel was SO kind and accommodating, so I genuinely cannot fault anyone there for the issues we had with our stay. I would just caution anyone looking at staying here about the beds - they are HARD and wildly uncomfortable (for me anyway, as someone who doesn't like super, super tough mattresses), so if you have any back pain (like myself) then I'd look elsewhere. Genuinely untenably uncomfortable beds; likely the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Even my husband, who never struggles with this kind of thing, woke up sore all over. I hate to rate this lovely hotel three stars, but it was just such a painful night's sleep that I have to say something. Just a warning!

Very disappointing experience staying at Leeds Marriott Hotel with my family. The room was extremely small, not properly tidy, and not clean at all. Basic things like complimentary water, proper toiletries, and drinking water were missing from the room. The windows were broken, which made the stay even worse. The biggest issue was accessibility the lift area is not friendly for pushchairs or wheelchairs. There are stairs before reaching the lift, so families need to physically carry pushchairs or wheelchairs by two people. This is very inconvenient and unacceptable for a family hotel. Parking was also a nightmare with no proper parking facilities available. On top of that, the WiFi connection was the worst I have ever experienced. I started searching something on the WiFi and literally fell asleep waiting it still hadn’t properly connected even by the next day. Overall, a very poor family experience and definitely not what we expected from a Marriott hotel. Would not recommend for families, especially those with children or wheelchair users.

Great ambience and good meeting venue. Excellent venue for large attendance presentations.

Perfect location in the centre of Leeds and only a few minutes walk from the train and bus station. Breakfast was good and served in Gino's restaurant which is part of the hotel. There are lots of good restaurants and bars just steps from the hotel. My only complaint was that I stayed in late April and the room was far too warm- the air con wasn't effective which is not acceptable for a hotel which portrays itself as high quality.

Room and service was actually good but had a problem with breakfast and the staff involved said things that were not the case and brought down a 5* rating to 3.

Excellent welcome, room, and service. Prime location in the center of Leeds. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning works perfectly.

Such a beautiful place in the heart of the town. Lovely food and rooms

The hotel’s location is fantastic: close to everything, but tucked away in a quieter, more private spot, which makes it a great base. My only real gripe was the air conditioning. It’s limited to 18°C, which didn’t feel cool enough on hot days or nights. Because of that, we had to open the window at night, but there’s a cabaret bar next to the hotel that carries on until around 4 or 5 am, so it can get pretty loud. Ideally, the AC would go a bit cooler so guests wouldn’t need to rely on opening the window.

The reception staff member showed a middle finger when i used the toilet. The rooms are dirty and are infested with cockroaches, there was a used condom next to my bed. The rooms are dirty and staff is rude and the food is horrible and i was sick from eating the food for a couple of days, thank god i survived in that hotel.
