About the venue
The Admiral Duncan is a gay pub on Old Compton Street, in the middle of Soho. On 30 April 1999 a neo-Nazi's nail bomb exploded inside. It killed Andrea Dykes, John Light and Nik Moore and injured dozens more. The pub reopened, and a memorial to the three hangs inside…
“Historic. Fun. Gay. The more wholesome remnants of what Soho used to be. Or must have been.” — Aristotle, Google
“Friendly gay pub that's been around longer than me. Gets busy later in the evening. Drag shows most evenings.” — L H, Google
