One Aldwych

Our stay at One Aldwych was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our September trip to London. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the level of service, warmth, and attention to detail. The staff was outstanding- genuinely friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The service reminded us of what you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton or another top luxury hotel, but with an incredibly personal and comfortable feel. The hotel itself is beautiful, sophisticated, and impeccably maintained. The stunning fresh flower arrangements throughout the property were especially memorable and added such an elegant touch. The location is also hard to beat, perfectly situated in the heart of London, making it easy to walk to Covent Garden, the West End, the Thames, and so many wonderful restaurants and attractions. What stood out most, though, was the people. Every interaction with the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and that level of hospitality is what turned an excellent hotel stay into an unforgettable one. One Aldwych is certainly a luxury experience, but in our opinion, it was worth every penny. We would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an exceptional London hotel. Five stars simply doesn’t feel like enough. The concierge team did an excellent job of lining up restaurant reservations from Michelin 2-star to gastropubs. The hotel accommodations are excellent. A wonderful bar with a menu of specialty, holiday drinks. We enjoyed the Charlie and Chocolate Factory tea despite being the oldest guests. Christmas Day lunch was also outstanding, better than the prix fixe menus at some other top-end restaurants. The location, at the south edge of Covent Gardens, is not that close to tube stations, but cabs are always available. For us, this was a “Mayfair experience” at a much better price.

Beautiful hotel, with contemporary decor, in an excellent location a stone's throw from Covent Garden. The rooms are very cozy and quiet and find an additional strong point in the splendid marble bathroom with excellent quality bathrobes and toiletries. The staff is extremely kind and collaborative, and the cocktails and light lunch dishes that can be enjoyed in the splendid lobby bar-restaurant are also excellent (a special mention for the high-quality fish and chips). In short, everything is of a very high standard.

One of the best meals we have ever experienced - and the entire menu is gluten free! (Perfect for our ceoliac diner). Attentive service from our waiter Stefano. Wonderful cocktails in the bar downstairs on our way out. We can't wait to return!

Everyone on the One Aldwych team made my wife and I's experience in London truly special. I have been constantly comparing all the other hotels we have stayed on during our 14-day adventure across the UK and none of them have come close. They set the standard extremely high. I will not be staying anywhere else when I return to London. Thank you guys

The hotel is amazing. The ADA room was excellent with plenty of space to move around in a wheelchair. We were on the 2nd floor but the noise from the street below was minimal. We were there during one of the hot spells and the air-conditioning was fantastic. It is so quiet you never heard it kick on or of, just the whir of the fan. Kept us very comfortable the whole trip. Service was fantastic, our room was always cleaned and turned down based on our schedule, not theirs. Great stay, would highly recommend OneAldwych!

We had a truly remarkable stay at One Aldwych — an exceptional “great find” in the heart of London. The location is perfect, with wonderful theaters and fine dining restaurants just steps away. What made our stay particularly memorable, however, was the EXCEPTIONAL staff and outstanding level of service. A very special thank you to Elenor at the front desk and Reception Manager Gregorio, who could not have been more welcoming, gracious, and helpful. Based on our experience, we can wholeheartedly recommend One Aldwych. If you are looking for a beautifully located London hotel with genuinely exceptional service, you will not be disappointed!

Perfect location but inside the hotel is quiet. Bridgeview studio room was nicely renovated and decorated- functional, contemporary and comfortable. Bed and pillows were comfortable so had good sleep every night. Bathroom was nice size with good amenities. Clean and quiet hotel. I love how it is very close to a pret a manger, MS food and Starbucks so there are down to earth options if you don’t want to eat at hotel or just to grab a snack. Pool was very nice. Didn’t have time to use the gym though. Service was professional and friendly. It is pricey but I feel the quality justifies the price. I had such a fabulous and comfortable stay here. Will come again.
