The staff is very friendly. However, we felt that €200 a night is too much for a hotel without air conditioning. I wouldn't recommend it in the summer. The room is small, and although it has a kitchenette, there's only one chair, and there's no room for two people to sit comfortably. It's a cramped room. There's a lobby in the building across the street that does have air conditioning and a terrace with views. The coffee machine wasn't working, but it was working in the building we were in. The location is a 10-minute walk from the metro station, with good connections to the O2 Arena and the city center. There's construction going on in the area, so you start to hear noise around 6 or 7 pm if you have the window open. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The views are generally nice, and the area is quiet. The room lacks amenities for comfortable relaxation. Excessively expensive for what it is.

We stayed at Vertus Edit for a night in the first week of July during what is becoming an increasingly common heatwave in London. While the room itself was great, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, it’s inconceivable that a hotel built in the last few years DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. it was cooler outside that inside our room. I cannot recommend staying here in the summer months. What was perhaps most disappointing was that each room only had a meagre fan and that we were not even given instructions on how to more fully open the windows (you can - just reach under the window frame as you’re opening It to release the restraint). This seems to be very common feedback so I can only hope the hotel does something about it.

May was the lovelyest person who helped me in a very stressful situation. Her kindness helped me regulate my emotions and helped sort me out.

For anyone who is interested in booking this hotel, there is no central A/C. This property would have been perfect if there was no heatwave. We came here in July, and had booked 8 nights as first time visiting London, and would want to stay at Canary Wharf as our homebase. I had booked the propety over 2 months ago and did not anticipate that there is a heatwave. The room has no cross-air. We were provided with a fan, even at full power, it is still too hot and noisy. The window cannot open fully but you would need to open the window at night to keep the room slightly cooler then you will also hear all kinds of noise from outside at night. It was so difficult to sleep, and the bedding was not even the cooling type. After 3 nights of staying, we had to make the hard decision and for the sake of our health and the enjoyment of our trip, we had to give up the bookings and move to Locke just down the street wtih central A/C. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they cannot help with refunding the rest of the nights. Otherwise, the room has exactly what we are looking for, it has kitchen, bed and bathroom. The location cannot be beat. They have a A/C Lounge at 12th floor with coffee machine, except the coffee machine, the coffe came out very watery, so it was quite disappointing. I would consider to come back here when London is not over 22 degree during the day. This is not the place to stay during summer heat.

A great Hotel apartment in the vibrant & fun Canary Wharf area of London. Easily reached via Elizabeth Line, & a short walk from the station. The area is lovely, with lots of green spaces, excellent bars & restaurants & shopping, all in a super clean environment. The Hotel itself is split across two buildings, Check-In is easy, swift & staff are friendly. All rooms are complete with space to cook your own meals if required, the rooms are squeaky clean, with great comfortable beds, & nice bathrooms; along with basic, but good toiletries available. Whilst this Hotel doesnt offer breakfast (after all, you have your own kitchen) there is a communal space available to grab free Tea & Coffee, along with an area for washing, & fully stocked vending machines. There is a lovely outdoor terrace too! Overall a great hotel, modern & very affordable & clean!

The room is spacious and very tidy! It’s close to both Jubilee & Elizabeth line (about 8-10 min walk), lots restaurants around the area and price is reasonable! The Rooftop share space is fantastic! Staff were very kind and helpful! You don’t even need to go to store if arrival at late night as they’ve got a tiny convenient store at ground floor!

We stayed in a ‘roomy’ apartment and we were so impressed. The room was very spacious. We had a kitchen with cooker, fridge, and kettle. There was a hairdryer, iron, and toiletries. The bed was very comfy! The weather was hot when we came and there was a Dyson fan in the room which we had on the end of bed ottoman to give us a nice breeze whilst we slept. The windows are large and it was a nice change to be able to open them a decent amount, unlike some hotels. The staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. There’s a lovely lounge area with a variety of different seating styles and areas. It’s a great spot for a read, or some time out. Free coffee too. We enjoyed the rooftop space. It was the extra little touches we liked as well such as having the glass bottle in the fridge for water, the fan, a customised welcome note on the TV and the snacks at reception. The location is great and just around the corner from the harbour area which is a beautiful spot to sit by the water or stroll around. We will be back again!

I had booked this hotel for 2 nights recently but I left after 1 night. Paid close to £200 per night. I stayed in block number 3 which is on the left as you walk towards it. At 7am I was awoken to loud construction right outside of my window - see pic. Very bad quality of sleep due to the heat and also due to the fact this hotel has no air-conditioning! £200 per night with zero air con. Also, the water was switched off in the morning! No message from reception or advance warning. I packed my bag and left. There are many other hotels to choose from rather than this outfit ie Novotel, Point A, Tribe Hotel. I await to see if management even bothers to contact me to ask why I left after 1 night. That said, the room was very nice and well appointed. But zero air-conditioning and no running water is a big NO for me. Much better vfm options nearby. Avoid like the plague.

Absolutely gorgeous we love our little hotel in London, great location,modern and the amazing amenities as gym, terrace, lobby. Reception very friendly and welcoming we love it, around the corner there are plenty options for eat. During the time London was with extreme heat so it was little complex because our room didn’t have ac just a little Dyson fan but it helped
