À propos de ce lieu Halifax Pride
Halifax Pride is the nonprofit that organizes the Halifax Pride Festival, the largest Pride event in Atlantic Canada. The first march, in 1988, drew a few dozen people, and some of them hid their faces with paper bags. Today the festival runs for about ten days each July, with a downtown parade, festival grounds, and community events.
The society also runs smaller programming through the year. Dates, the parade route, and accessibility information are posted on halifaxpride.com. Book accommodation early for festival week, because downtown hotels fill up.
