The Desert Compass

Love this place. I'm a repeat stayer and it's just good old down home Albuquerque with a welcoming, lofi, make-yourself-at-home and enjoy vibe... I'll be back.

I adored the Desert Compass! Great service, convenient walkable location to the heart of Old Town, and a beautiful property. I hope to return.

Great suit. Full kitchen, coffee and tea is supplied. Jacuzzi was nice to have after walking around old town.

The Yucca Suite was spacious and accurately represented online. The walking distance to Old Town Plaza, Sawmill Market, and museums was ideal. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Desert Compass. The location is perfectly situated near Old Town and there is a gate for security. We stayed in the Rattlesnake suite and it is spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed including coffee and tea. The vibes are incredible and my husband who is hard to impress said, “this place is really cute. Let’s stay here again.” We’ll be back again!

Beautiful and unique Air BnB in safe, quiet and well-positioned location for ABQ tourists in terms of food, drink and coffee options. I was shocked by how large the room was for the cost. Wish we had more time and will definitely be back.

Fantastic place to dtay right in the heart of old town. Be sure to follow their recommendations. Especially Duran’s and Cocina Azul. I was attending a conference at Hotel Albuquerque and it was a quick walk.

Really great suite, walking distance to museums and great food. Mulberry tree was ripening and within minutes purple fingers and tongues were achieved! Lovely decor and superb bedding. Loved the hot tub and outdoor space too.

We had a wonderful experience in the Coyote Suite at The Desert Compass. I'm a loyal Marriott customer but all the Marriotts looked boring and weren't close to Oldtown so I googled and came across The Desert Compass. The other reviews were great so we booked the room. Check-in and parking was easy. The Coyote Suite is a fantastic room with a private courtyard and firepit. The inside had a kitchenette, two large beds, a Frame TV, stereo, a really nice, complete set up for a stay. A block away is Oldtown with all the restaurants and shops so incredibly convenient location. We will definitely be back.

5 stars for sure!!! We had a fantastic stay! Your place is beautiful and so cozy! We had everything we needed to prepare a meal and relax after a long week of traveling. And the location is so perfect!

3 for 3 on outstanding stays at The Desert Compass. The location is great with Old Town being practically next door. The property is a lovely little paradise. The accommodations are unique and comfortable. My favorite place to stay when in ABQ.
