Awesome hotel. Clean, modern, friendly staff and excellent location. Just steps away from all of the restaurants!

We've rented a meeting room at The Restoration Hotel a couple times now for Board meetings. Matthew and the crew have been amazing hosts! Everything was taken care of, the food was wonderful and the hotel itself is gorgeous. I enjoy working with Matthew and we'll be back for a future meeting!

Best place to stay in downtown Asheville! Great location that is very walkable to nearby restaurants and activities. The staff was great and very accommodating during our stay. The breakfast basket every morning was such a great touch. And the coffee bar makes a great matcha latte!

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we were just walking by and the lobby was so inviting we decided to go in and get a drink and sit for a bit. We're very glad we did because we had just had a disappointing experience at another establishment. As soon as we sat we were greeted by Craig and he turned our night around with a great up beat and energetic personality. We had plans to eat at another place but decided to stay because he made it such a comfortable atmosphere. Ironically it was his first night at that particular bar, so you guys have a good one in Craig so we'll definitely be back when we visit Ashville again.

I really wanted to love The Restoration Hotel Asheville—it has all the makings of a great place—but there are some underlying issues that are hard to overlook. A lot of it seems to stem from leadership and ownership. There doesn’t seem to be much consistency or clear direction, and the people handling day-to-day operations don’t always seem trusted to do their jobs. Decisions feel like they’re coming from the top without a real sense of what’s actually happening on the ground, which creates a noticeable disconnect and affects the overall experience. What really stands out, though, is how much effort the staff puts in despite all of that. The bartenders—especially Chloe , Lily and Lauren go out of their way to make guests feel taken care of. They’re friendly, attentive, and clearly care about what they do. Ezra is another standout, always stepping in wherever needed and keeping things running smoothly. It’s obvious the team genuinely cares and is doing everything they can to keep things together. Unfortunately, they’re working within a system that doesn’t always give them the support or structure they need to thrive. That’s what makes it frustrating—this place has so much potential. The atmosphere, the concept, and the people are all there. It just feels like the focus from ownership leans more toward quick results rather than building something strong and lasting. I really hope that shifts, because the staff deserves better support—and this place deserves the chance to become what it could be.

I’m downtown for work all the time and spend a lot of my day on foot, so I’ve seen it all. I ducked in here for a quick lunch today and was honestly blown away. The service was top-tier—shoutout to Emma, who was just so genuine and actually gave me recommendations I ended up loving. Even the hospitality host outside made a point to say hello and let me know the place is dog-friendly, which is a huge win for Asheville. If you’re visiting and want to be right in the heart of everything—walking distance to all the best shops and sights—this is the spot. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience at Hotel y Restaurante Restauración. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and truly committed to providing excellent service. The hotel facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to stay. The restaurant was equally impressive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish reflected quality and care, and the atmosphere made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this place offers a perfect combination of comfort, excellent service, and delicious food. I would highly recommend Hotel y Restaurante Restoratión to anyone looking for a pleasant and unforgettable stay.
