Small but comfy room. Day bar breakfast & lunch. Night bar cocktails. Short walk to restaurants & art museum. $20/day parking 1 block away. Did not try "speakeasy" side entrance.

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY The good: This place rocks an artsy, hipster vibe -- groovy 70's mirrored glass retro meets renaissance tapastries. The room was lovely -- canopied bed, artistic furniture, very coozy and sweet. The Cocktail Lounge--Blooms--is very cool. The Bad: Ash Bar and Cafe - VERY poor service. We went there for breakfast today - 9:30 AM. We ordered a simple side order of scrambled eggs and a yogurt parfait. It took a half hour to arrive! And we were the only people in the restaurant for the first 15 minutes!! Plenty of staff hanging around chatting with each other. They gave us coffee and water when we first arrived and then never looked our way. We flagged them down at the 20 minute mark to ask for a refill. Honestly, it didn't feel like the individual staffers' faults -- it felt like no one in the place had been trained by management. ...AND the Ugly: they had the nerve to charge a mandatory 20% tip.

Beautiful bar, drinks were great and service was perfect. The area was lovely.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Ulysse. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We truly appreciated the professionalism and hospitality of the entire team. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was small but the perfect size for a short trip. Service staff were great and quick to respond. It’s also a short walk to public transportation stops and several restaurants.

For REAL. I just finished a four-night stay at the Ulysses and the staff here made one of the best hotel visits I have had in a LONG time. Brandon was so great with his vibe and professionalism. He greeted me to lift my heavy ass bag upon arrival and then, before I could blink, he was behind the desk super late on a Thursday night. My friend and I were literally arguing over which one of us was his favorite guest because he was just that amazing to us the whole time. When I realized I’d left my entire bag of toiletries on my bathroom counter at home, he didn't even stress it. He was around the corner in two seconds finding me a hair dryer and everything else I needed to get by. Seeing him every day definitely made the trip better and I just can't say enough good things about him and his vibe. Get his some Burger King if you are placing a late night Door Dash order for me! Rhonie and Venus were also amazing. I was rushing out to a conference one afternoon and the whole team was back there scrambling to help me find a package a coworker had left behind the desk. They were so patient about it. Also, Venus really looked out for me on a Sunday night when everywhere was closed and I really needed a drink. She tracked down a Sprite for me out of nowhere and was so sweet and friendly. Rhonie also helped with my extended stay in the same room when plans changed. They were also super accommodating on Monday since my flight wasn't until late that night, which made my last day way easier. The hotel has a great vibe and the beds and pillows are actually comfortable. Just a heads-up that it is a boutique spot. There’s no fridge or microwave in the room, which was a bit of a bummer as I couldn't keep my leftovers, and the shower doesn’t have a door, so it gets pretty breezy in there while you’re washing up. I did not have a plus one if you know what I mean in the shower situation but if I did? It wouldn't be me standing by the missing door LOL. I didn’t get a chance to visit their onsite dining. But the vibe was cool. I was workin so I didn't get to let it all in, but there was a good truck and nice people all around. Love and appreciate you guys! I will try and be back some day. Sprite and a hairdryer. What more could a girl ask for?

A very unique hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, awesome bar, but the staff are really what made experience here.
