What a cute, welcoming hotel! The decor was really vibrant and lovely. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. My room was small but well appointed, and there are larger rooms available which I would recommend for couples. Honestly the most happening hotel bar(s!) I have ever seen (and this was on Sunday/Monday!). If you are looking for a spot in Baltimore for business or fun, I highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Ulysses during Baltimore Pride. The hotel has such a distinct sense of style, history, and lineage—full of character, wit, and atmosphere in a way that stands miles apart from the generic “Holiday Hyatt Embassy Gardens” blandness of so many hotels. Every corner feels intentional and memorable. Ash Bar was wonderful too, especially because it opens at 7 am, making it perfect for a beautiful early start. James and Dinga were particularly wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Hotel Ulysses made my Pride weekend feel special, stylish, and deeply welcoming. Highly recommended.

The hotel was incredibly charming but during our stay the elevator broke, the police or armed security were gathered out front and then in the lobby on Saturday night … neighborhood is vibrant and it seemed more a better destination for cocktails or food than a hotel/ overnight stay. Though it was okay, I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s a fine hotel. Pros: - amazing and crazy interior design - good views - beautiful smell - self parking nearby - friendly and helpful staff Cons: - central AC unavailable, the suite had window AC which is not powerful and very loud, the one in the window above us was dripping water and tapping all the time. - dimmers in the room didn’t work - low water pressure - lack of at least one powerful lamp - no TV apps or casting possibility

From the moment you walk in to this hotel, you know you are in for a treat! We found this place totally by accident, the hotel we had booked was closed when we got there and they recommened the Hotel Ulysses and it turned out to be one of the best things that happened on our trip! James at the desk was so friendly, informative and helpful! Our bartender, Eddie was such a professional, very knowledgeable about wines, drinks...and so much fun. He was excellent! The food was on point, as well. Love the whole decor in the hotel! So much fun! Art deco meets New Orleans. Our room was done with leopard wall to wall carpet, black and gold tiled bathroom with all black fixtures! So much fun! Canopy beds with what looked like homemade quilts! So different and just made you smile at all the little things they added. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone! Can't wait to go back :) Thank you, Hotel Ulysses!
