For the price point, the hotel was not worth it. Concierge was not very polite. The room was basic, and needed renovations. There was no soap left for us in the room upon check in. The restaurant was very lackluster. Bartender did not look like he was happy to be there, and would often give passive aggressive responses to customers. There were no exciting items on the menu, just general bar food. We ordered two items that should normally come after about 15-20 min of waiting, and it took a hour to receive the food. They forgot my additional order of fries as well. I am not one to usually complain, but if I am spending $200+ on a hotel per night, the service needs to be stepped up.
I'd rather go elsewhere. They do fall short on a few dimensions. The lobby is beautiful and with a character, but the rooms are dated and get stuffy. The gym is really poor, they don't even have a treadmill nor the set of dumbbells. On each encounter, the staff was slow and almost seemed bothered I am asking help. Just so not welcoming. No small Mart wall where you could get emergency painkillers or so.
Terrible. Do not stay here if you value safety. Anyone can enter the lobby after hours. Even our uber driver said “I can’t believe you’re staying there”. Woken up all night by outside people yelling even while we were 10 floors up. Disgusting, dirty , entire hallways stink of weed. Mold , grout, tub won’t drain. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. If I could give it zero, I would.
Convenient location near the event arena, but overall this was a disappointing stay. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival, the hotel appeared poorly maintained, and the air conditioning was broken for my entire three-day stay. The hotel restaurant was also a letdown. Staff rarely acknowledged or greeted guests, and the food quality did not justify the prices. The burgers were overcooked, the wings were soggy, and the meals generally seemed dry and poorly prepared. While the location was the one positive aspect, the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and dining experience did not meet expectations.
I stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel while attending a conference. The lobby is attractive and makes a good first impression, but unfortunately the room was disappointing—dated, worn, and not particularly comfortable. Customer service was also lacking, with poor bellhop service and a front desk that was rude and inflexible when issues arose. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel.
