First off the kitchen was very open and exposed. THE KITCHEN WALLS were black, the kitchen was filthy and there were only two people working. It was just a hot mess!!! I literally went in, sat down for about 4-10 minutes….saw the kitchen, and went right back out. I will never go back

I went there one day for happy hour however, happy hour only happens on the day they text you . The bar tender couldn’t even find the napkins to give the guest . I tried them last week, I went to order food and the bar tender told me they were closing after just opening because their staff had walked out . I was embarrassed. They also Never answer the phone.

The Staff was absolutely nice but the food was a 6:10 the flavor was great ordered lamb chops medium and got 2 well done and an over cooked one.4 people were at the table but only two cups of water was given we had to ask for the 2. Two people ordered lemon drops and only one and the last thing was the cups of soda was filled so much the waitress was spilling it on herself. I wouldn't do it again!!!! Especially on this economy 🫠

I came in on a Friday night expecting to have a good experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It took approximately 15 minutes for anyone to greet us after we arrived, and even after we were seated, we were never given menus. We had to rely on the online menu to figure out what we wanted to order. I ordered the Ultimate Alfredo, which is listed online for $40. However, I was charged $60 for the dish. When I questioned the bartender, who presented himself as essentially the manager, I was told that the online menu was wrong. I then went to the front and saw that the pasta was listed at $55, which still did not match the $60 I was charged. To be clear, money was never the issue. The issue is the false and misleading advertising. If the online menu says $40, but the restaurant charges $60, that needs to be addressed. Even the price displayed inside the restaurant did not match what I was ultimately charged. Customers should not have to question whether the prices being advertised are actually accurate. What made the experience even more disappointing was seeing staff members hitting vapes while guests were waiting to be helped. We were already waiting to be acknowledged and were never even provided menus, yet employees were standing around vaping instead of assisting guests. That is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable in a restaurant setting. It honestly makes me question what kind of establishment is being operated, especially one that presents itself as offering “proper cuisine.” If this is supposed to be a professional dining establishment, the staff should be focused on providing proper customer service, maintaining a professional environment, and making sure guests are taken care of, not vaping while customers are waiting. The combination of waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged, never receiving menus, inconsistent pricing, and employees vaping instead of assisting guests made the entire experience extremely disappointing. Again, this was never about the money. It was about the principle, transparency, professionalism, and customer service. Customers deserve accurate pricing, attentive service, and a professional environment. Management needs to do better.

DO NOT EXPECT PAPI CUISINE QUALITY Very disappointed. We went on a Friday for dinner and it was empty. They had a list of items that was on the menu but they ran out. WE NEVER MET OUR WAITER. The hostess came to our table asked if she could take our order and the waiter would be over soon. Unfortunately one never came. The hostess was very nice. The food tasted like they ran out of seasoning and it was cooked a couple days ago and just reheated up. Drinks were “just okay”. This place is way overpriced for the quality.

This was my first time actually eating at Proper Cuisine in Baltimore, and I had really been looking forward to it since attending the grand opening. I didn’t get a chance to eat at the grand opening, so finally coming back for dinner felt like a big deal. I came with my fiancé, and it was his first time here as well. We were excited to have a nice date night out together. When we arrived, the server/bartender explained that only the bar area was open because he was the only person working that evening. We were completely understanding and sat at a table near the window. The night actually started off really well. Our appetizers were SO good and had us really excited for our main courses. Unfortunately, the atmosphere changed completely shortly afterward. A group of about five young women came in who appeared to be celebrating a 21st birthday. We overheard the bartender mention the birthday and watched as shots were poured for the group. Within minutes, “Quiet on the creek” came on, and the group got off their barstools and started twerking in the middle of the restaurant. At one point, one of the women’s BREAST COMPLETELY CAME OUT of her dress but that didn’t stop her, she kept on dancing breast out and all. The atmosphere became so inappropriate and chaotic that another table that had been there before us quickly packed up their food and left. From there, it just continued to get worse. What was supposed to be a relaxing date night away from the kids turned into an environment we absolutely did not want to sit through. We ended up rushing through our evening, asking for boxes and the check so we could leave. The bartender did comp the one drink we had ordered, which we appreciated but he also replayed the song for them that started all the twerking to begin with. Im all for birthdays and celebrating but there is a time and a place for that kind of celebrating, fourten lounge was right around the corner. I’m pregnant, having a night out with my fiancé was something I had really been looking forward to, which made the experience even more disappointing. I understand that restaurants can’t control every single thing their customers do, but there is a point where staff should step in when behavior is disrupting the dining experience for everyone else. Ironically, after all of that, the group ended up getting their food to go anyway. I’m honestly not sure that I would return to dine in after this experience, which is unfortunate because the food itself was REALLY good. I would absolutely order takeout from Proper Cuisine because the kitchen did not disappoint. I just wish the atmosphere and management of the dining space had matched the quality of the food.
