They don't honor reservations, and the staff is rude, too.

Came to check in Friday 6/12 into our PREPAID king suite. We get to the front desk and they tell me there are NO SUITES AVAILABLE WHEN I PAID FOR ONE WEEKS AGO!!!!!! How can a hotel have you prepay for a specific room type and then tell you that room is not available? We are traveling with an infant and we needed the suite we paid for. They refused to give us a suite and I have had no price adjustments. My credit card company will happily contest this charge with this awful hotel and I will get my money back. Moral of the story is DON'T EVER STAY HERE!!! ***UPDATE: we actually had to leave the hotel early it is THAT bad. Let the shower run for 15 min without a drop of hot water. That was the final straw.

Con: (1) They over-scented the rooms! I think it’s to cover up the cigarette smell. After waking up the first morning with an itchy throat because of the cigarette smell, I called the front desk person to be switched to a different room. She gave me attitude problems and kept questioning why I didn’t ask to be switched as soon as we went into the room the night before. We checked in late at night, and I thought I was just being too sensitive! She was very rude when I explained the situation by responding “uh huh” x5. Do you think I take joy in packing and unpacking again?!? The second room still smelled like strong cologne and cigarettes. My guess is that these hotel rooms used to be smoking rooms, and they’ve turned them into smoke-free rooms. (2) As mentioned above, the service has been horrible. Not even a single apology for the inconvenience. (3) The first hotel room they gave us had a window AC unit. What century do we live in that a hotel room still has a window AC unit? (4) The room needs more lighting. It’s too dim. (5) A lot of homeless people around the hotel. Pro: (1) Thick and good quality towels. (2) the room is huge.

Very underwhelming hotel/service. Staff was not helpful at all and rather negligent. When we called for room service requesting more towels/items they told me to go down to reception and get it myself. We were also desperately in need of water because my friend fell ill one night. There was no beverages stocked in the mini fridge, so we went down to reception to buy some and they had zero. Not even willing to look in the back/rectify the situation. If you need to stay close to the Baltimore Convention Center and have no other options, keep your expectations extremely low. They also inflate the price 4x the normal rate when they know there’s a convention.
