They would not refund my money when I found a roache in my room
Terrible experience! First of all, we had a room on the second floor and there is no elevator. How is that possible? Second, the hallways smelled like pot. If you cant smoke cigarettes inside, how can you smoke pot? It is illlegal in Iowa and there is no way no one knew about it. Third, there was black mold in the shower corners. Fourth, there was a card in our room advertising room amenities you could purchase (towels pillows, coffee maker, etc.) and we actually wanted to purchase one of the pillows and the person at the front desk said it wasn't a thing until we showed him the card and still said we can't and would be charged $100 if we took one. We said he could keep it and then he said his manager said it was OK THIS time because the card was in our room. Very poorly run establishment!
