Great location. The event space is very nice and large.

After paying exorbitant amount for the room, the TV doesn't go up all the way. I can't hear the TV from my Bed. The front desk tried to help me, but she couldn't change anything. You're muting the TV's\n I don't have a TV in my room now. The TV doesn't go up any higher.\nI'll never come back here

This place is amazing they have ballroom for weddings they have many rooms that you can rent out for businesses. Our room was fantastic we had two queen beds add a queen pull out bed we enjoyed every minute we were there 💋

Please do yourself a favor to save time and your hard earned money. Review all of lowest star ratings first BEFORE YOU BOOK. Read the ratings on more than one site. I ignored the lowest ratings because I thought they were fake, until I stayed at the Stoney Creek hotel in Kansas City, Independence, MO. Many of the lowest ratings I read AFTER our horrible stay lined up with a lot of our same issues. I wish I would have read the low ratings more through BEFORE WE BOOKED. Our stay was miserable, expensive and frustrating. We booked a suite. $268.00. The place was filthy. The place is in need of a complete makeover, it is outdated and run down. The refrigerator wasn't turned on and when we finally got it turned on, the refrigerator only stayed at a 50 degree temperature. We had dried FECAL matter under the toilet seat, the toilet bowl & rim. They was hair on the bed linens, flat as a pancake pillows, hairs on the floor, ants and silverfish, dead and alive on the coffee bar with built up heavy dust. There were no lids for any of the travel coffee paper cups. No half n half. Obviously, no cleaning personnel bother to move the coffee machine a mere few inches to clean behind it. Put it this way, the cleaning crew do not bother to clean anything....The large jetted tub had built up black scum in the jets and was filthy. The best part of it all, as if what I already described wasn't enough...there was NO water in the shower suitable or warm enough for a shower. The water never got warm enough to even think about a quick shower. When I called the front office to describe the lack of warm water, someone named S...n called back after waiting for at least 15 minutes. S...n told us to run the cold water faucet in the sink and in the jetted tub, then at the same time turn on the shower faucets to see it there was warm water. This did not help and what a waste of water, time and what a complete inconvenience when we paid $268.00 for our room! We were to run the water for 20 minutes to see if it would eventually warm up. I guess the hotel does not care about water conservation!!! We ran the water for what we consider a reasonable time to warm up water and it never worked. Shawn did not come to our room to check our shower but, went to the vacant room next door to our room. He claims the water was warm in that unit. This all started about 9pm and by the time we were finished it was 11pm. A unreasonable time for anyone to shower as we were getting up very early the next day. The food in the restaurant is almost cool, warm isn't even a word I would describe it. How do they pass Health Department inspections! Gross eggs and everything else, low quality. We booked through Expedia. The hotel HATES, HATES 3rd party booking sites. The hotel made it clear to us that if "we hadn't booked through a 3rd party, then they could HELP." NO kidding, we were told this by more than one front office staff member. This is wrong, very wrong. I don't care about a full refund but, I do feel there should be at least some monetary refund. According to Expedia the hotel would NOT respond to any of Expedia calls or emails. Another issue, if you don't like cigarette smoke then this place won't be for you, They let smokes site close to the drive up in front of the hotel sit and smoke. We walked past people just standing by the front door smoking. If smokers are to be at another location this should be more closely monitored and enforced. There weren't even signs for where smokers should or shouldn't be. The sad part is this was our 2nd stay at this same hotel, We gave the hotel a 2nd chance and should have learned our lesson the first time around.

Didn't stay just there for a conference. Place was beautiful and people were very nice.
