Hôtel Metro, Autograph Collection

I give them 0 stars. They intentionally turned off the HEAT-for the season during a below freezing night and then tried to lie about it by falsely blaming their energy provider

Trying to stay at all Marriott brands as a lifetime goal. This was the first Autograph hotel. It's a nice historic building and a great location. The room itself was huge. We had a 5th floor room using points. Everything in the room was functional and clean. We loved the bathroom. The Lavazza coffee machine and pods were a nice touch. Not the best Marriott property...not the worst. Size of room and decor with location make this a 4/5. Staff was friendly. Would like to be able to set thermostat lower as we like it cool to sleep. It was limited to 65 degrees (in winter) and tool about 5 hours to get near that temperature. Restaurant on site is ok. Lots of better options nearby. Parking is expensive. We self parked about a block away for about 25 vs near 50 for valet.

This is by far the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. When I arrived at my room, the thermostat was visibly broken and the HVAC made loud grinding noises. When I asked to switch rooms, they said they had nothing available. When I then said I wanted to leave, they magically found another room. I was also charged for two nights of valet even though I only did one night, and I've reached out repeatedly without a resolution. This hotel and their staff are absolutely awful.

Here's the thing. I gave this hotel 4 stars, but really it was a 3.5. Everything was good, from checking in, to the quality of the room, the cleanliness, the staff are polite. The big issue is the age of the AC. It was loud and didn't pump anything except warm air out, which made sleeping very difficult. Even when I turned it off completely and opened the limited motion windows, the room remained hot. If the AC was updated, I would very much recommend, unfortunately, I had a terrible sleep, and can't wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Cute hotel. Room was more about looks than comfort but we were only there for one night. Parking is next door and easy. Location is good to walk to restaurants.

I appreciate Precious approach and work ethic she definitely deserves to be recognized. I’m truly grateful for how she made my stay easy.

We had a decent stay there. The hotel has a bit of a creepy vibe. What I am most upset about and which is completely unacceptable - my car was valeted while there - the first night somehow the valet got us $135 fine for illegal parking. We have consistently called with NO resolve. This car was a rental so Hertz went ahead and paid the fine on my company card! This causes a myriad of issues. For this hotel to not feel this was an important mishap to rectify if unacceptable.
