Logan Inn à New Hope PA

The place is located in the heart of new Hope. It is nice and newer inside however, it is nothing special The food for the most part is good However, we came for Mother’s Day and not only is it expensive $80 That does not even include a drink other than water Soda, tea coffee anything is extra They were even a few many items that had up charges Hey, maybe would consider coming not do they have fixed menus and see what the price is and food is then. Definitely bring your wallet because they do nickel and dime you.

Not the best spot to be at, service was the worst. I was staying and i was having drinks and out of nowhere they told us to move because they reserved it. After they told us its fine to be outside drinking or eating. Then for food nobody took my order after 45 minutes

The food was extremely good however, the manager Antonio went above and beyond to help us. We were having trouble with a free drink coupon. He took his time and was very patient and kind when helping us. We also stayed at the hotel… Very cute!

Antonio was outstanding. He accommodated our ever need. Food and atmosphere excellent. We were having dinner before and event there and the experience was super. Thank you Antonio.

We stayed at the Logan Inn for two nights. Overall, it was a decent stay, but for the price point, there are a few areas that could really be improved. When I originally booked, I noted we were traveling with two small children. The hotel’s system suggested a room for us, which I selected, but it didn’t have a bathtub. That felt like a miss given we were traveling with kids. When I went to the front desk to change rooms, I was initially quoted one price. After going back upstairs to talk it over with my husband and sending him down, he was quoted a different, significantly higher price for the same change. That part was frustrating, though I do want to note that the manager was great and stepped in to help resolve everything, which we really appreciated. There were luggage carts available, but no one offered assistance, and the distance to the rooms is not short. Managing everything ourselves with kids and bags over that distance was genuinely frustrating and felt out of step with the overall positioning of the hotel. The suite we were moved into was nice overall, but there were a few small maintenance issues, like a loose bathroom handle and other minor details that could use attention. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it didn’t quite match the expectations set by the price. With a few adjustments, it could be a much better experience.

We stayed for a night on our way from DC to NYC and heard New Hope was gay friendly so we wanted to explore. We arrived an hour before check-in and just asked to leave luggage while we walked around town. The front desk person was truly bizarrely unfriendly without any customer service training. We don’t expect people to bend over backwards but she didn’t even greet us, just asked flatly if we were trying to check in, then informed us the room wasn’t ready and we could just leave bags over there, which was a random corner of the waiting area. It was so strange we had to ask if the bags would be safe over there and she said “no one goes over there…” When we returned to check in 30 mins after the set check in time they said the room wasn’t ready yet to our surprise, then they checked and said the floors were still wet but we can check in. There was again no greeting or basic courtesy apologizing for the delayed room, just super strange staff behavior. When we checked out the next day it was again another bizarre exchange where the staff person asked us if we were checking out and after we said yes she just didn’t say anything. I had to ask if she needed us to sign or do anything to checkout and she said no without even looking at us. We left feeling like the overall sentiment of this hotel was all guests are bothersome and we should just leave. Our overall impression is that the tourist season must be tough on staff with a bunch of insufferable wealthy families visiting for a short stay and torturing locals in the process. However, our stay was in April and it felt like staff were already over it despite the tourism season not even being in full swing. There are some lovely small restaurants and shops to explore but we will not be returning to this hotel.

We have not always he the best service here but we had Christine and she was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and gave us good recommendations for what we wanted. She was so friendly and welcoming. We hope to see her again when we come back. We will definitely come back to see Christine!
