Unfortunately, what would otherwise have been a decent stay was completely ruined for me by a saggy mattress. The staff and facilities here are perfectly fine, the location is reasonably convenient , the hotel and the room were clean and the rates are relatively low.But that mattress! When I arrived in New Orleans after a long trip I was dog tired but I could not sleep a wink because the mattress on my bed was very soft and saggy and caused me terrible, persistent pain in my back and hips.Had to move into a different hotel and wasted a pile of money.

I thought I was making a wise move to stay here with so many other options in the area being so expensive and the reviews at the Treme being so great...boy was I wrong!!!! We stayed for one night last week. When we arrived to The Treme, we immediately dropped off our bags and went directly to enjoy what New Orleans has to offer. We returned to the hotel around 11PM and immediately found out that the last room guest left the toilet clogged with crap. I went down to the office to report this gross issue (not sure how the housekeeper missed this when cleaning the room), and he told me that the repair man was off duty for the night and that we would have to use the bathroom by the lobby (hotel was full so no other rooms available). I asked if I could just borrow the plunger, but he said that was not an option. So my wife and I slept in a room that reeked of crap and had to run downstairs to use the bathroom if we needed to go in the middle of the night. When we woke up in the AM to go out for breakfast, I reminded the same clerk about the toilet issue but it remained unfixed even after returning from eating. We refused to shower due to the smell in the bathroom and had to wait to clean up when we boarded our cruise ship. This was extremely unacceptable and possibly even a health code violation. If this was not enough, the carpeting was filthy and the advertised laundry machine was broken as well. I did try calling and emailing after our return home, but no manager/owner replied. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere!!

It's much more than I expected for the price. The check in was smooth and easy, the staff really friendly and helpful and I've felt like home. The neighborhood has a lot of personality for a European, with a couple of nice cafes to have breakfast. Not far walking to the center. The houses around are what you'd expect from Nola. I'd definitely stay here again.

This motel is not in French Quarters but walking distance from it in really colorful parish , called Treme. Looks like is freshly remodeled and is still needing some finishing touches. Very pleasant staff and free parking on property.

Our room looked like it had been remodeled recently. The shower was great and the room was clean. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping the room clean .We stayed 5 nights. It was about a 15 minute walk from the heart of the French Quarter. The staff was very friendly and the neighborhood was decent.

This is a very basic, no frills motel-type property in the Treme neighborhood of NOLA, that is separated from the French Quarter by Interstate 10. And it is inexpensive. I really wanted to give this hotel a better overall review, but when I think back on my stay, and the pros and cons, I can only give it a 3 out of 5 rating. Pros - Super friendly staff - Quiet neighborhood - Clean - Comfortable bed - Inexpensive Cons - Isolated. There is very, very little around it in way of restaurants, etc - Extremely loud and obnoxious guests coming in at all times speaking at a volume as if they were the only people in the building, slamming doors, etc. I did not sleep through the night either night of my stay for being woken up multiple times. I had requested a quiet room, too. I really think the hotel staff should make an effort to keep people quiet as they come in a night, particularly in light of: - Razor thin walls. I could hear a guy snoring in the next room. If you are looking for a really inexpensive NOLA stay, and have a car (there is off street parking) and good earplugs or a high tolerance for noise from others staying at hotel, The Treme is worth a look.

Clean enough but could have been cleaner. Super friendly staff but everyone I tried to speak to about cancelling my last night just kept putting me off to the next person. I tried to cancel the last night 2 days before we arrived and never heard back. Good location. Pretty lame weekend breakfast but we were not there for the breakfast anyway. Not sure I would stay there again, not sure I wouldn't.

Located in a real local neighborhood in new Orleans. Rooms are very clean, fridge in room staff friendly. I really enjoyed my stay over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - so close to the festivities and activities. A real find!

The family run hotel had exceptionally low prices in NOLA during a busy football weekend. Rooms are basic but really clean and mine looks remodeled and has newer elements along with older ones. Ambiance isn’t there at all, Treme neighborhood looked a bit rough. Bed comfortable; pillows good. Very important for traveling. Key- use taxi or ride share to/from here. Eight dollars for a ride to the Quarter. Five stars based on functionality and value.
