This place is a treasure. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by everyone. I had the Blackened Chicken Platter with Collard Greens and mashed potatoes to go. It was quite Delicious. I ordered at the bar and Kenyatta was very kind and helpful. She told me about bringing the receipt back to receive their Delicious bread pudding for free. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Come see Kenyatta at bar. She is very attentive to her customers, friendly and, gave us the most honest opinion of food and drink choices. Everything was great. Will definitely be back the next time in NOLA!
Great all around and on Bourbon Street the heart of Downtown New Orleans.
Lovely food, service was fabulous, ask to sit up stairs as better atmosphere and slightly warmer
We wanted some authentic New Orleans cuisine, but it was pretty late at night and our options were limited with what was still open. The food here was alright, but nothing impressive. I was especially excited for my friend to try alligator for the first time because I wanted her first bite to be GOOD, and unfortunately this was not it. It came out prepared two different ways, fried and grilled, which I guess was nice because we got to try both, but neither was that great. I may just have to take her to a North Carolina seafood festival for the real experience. The sausage came out hard and VERY well done, the bread roll wasn’t good, and the gumbo was pretty mid. I was also surprised there weren’t any homemade sauces to go with everything. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but definitely not the New Orleans food experience I was hoping for. I now understand why people tell you not to dine on Bourbon Street.
Great good and friendly service. Flavors were out of this world.
