Came down for pride spent 10 minutes in the room and checked out just to find out they keep your100 deposit be careful with those thieves

Super quick in and out service and then the workers are super helpful as well and accommodating also I’m sure some others can agree that hotels don’t have to be expensive but then again I go for sleep and not the looks but like I said it was nice and they provided soap and towels to a T I’d definitely recommend it especially since it’s cheap I always check for bugs and stuff I’m just gonna say I was far more satisfied than other places in the area mainly because of the deal !!

Very convenient location for attending the conference center. But you get what you pay for. The location did not feel the safest until you got 1 block further north. The room was semi-clean, with black mold in the shower, the window curtains torn in places and unable to fully close, a very loud AC unit, a sketchy elevator, and a $100 cash security deposit. Staff were very nice and helpful though!

This hotel was horrible from the moment we walked in. We went to the lobby to check in and were waiting for 10 minutes just quietly chatting with at least one other party in the room. There was not an attendee at the front desk so we assumed they were busy. We finally got fed up and went to look for a number to contact and found that the attendee was just sitting at his desk out of view and watching us the whole time without saying anything. Though this hotel states it has a pool and free breakfast, you come to find out breakfast was cancelled back in 2020 and the pool was filled in with concrete. We finally checked in and were put on the top floor, we originally used the stairs just to check out the room before trying to get our luggage up and we found out that the only elevator to the place was broken. This was only made worse since the stairs were partially outside and were in a poor state with flickering lights, cobweb filled spaces, and broken safety grips. As for the room, the one door was not properly installed so it constantly got stuck on the carpet of the hotel room meaning it did not close easily, there were open light fixtures that had no sort of covering, only one outlet with an overly filled surge protector in the room used for 2+ people, the blinds had holes all over and a giant tear toward the center edge of the curtain causing a gap for light. Though the bed looked clean we found a clipped toenail in the sheets which had been there for who knows how long, and there was a concerning black mold growing all over the ceiling of the bathroom. Also with the bathroom, the bath tub/shower was never properly installed so whenever you attempted to take a shower half of the water would come out from the bath faucet and no amount of readjusting would correct it. The towels were small and there was enough for each person to maybe have 1. We went to the front attendee the next day (same attendee who checked us in) and asked for 2 more towels and he interrogated us as if we had been lying about having a reservation at that hotel. Even when we said what room number and floor we had, he still insisted on matching an ID with the reservation and confirming we were going to be there for more nights. The same attendee also interrogated us just to check out from the hotel. All we wanted to do was drop off the key and instead he decided he needed to pull up our reservation to prove we had even really been at the hotel. We had the physical key card in our hand, and he still had to make sure we were not lying about having a key with them. Do not trust what these old pictures tell you, this is not the nice hotel it pretends to be. For it's location, we truly expected a better hotel.

We had a 3 night stay. Medical procedures on each of the three days. Room was adequate but customer service sucked. We had medical equipment that needed wifi. Talked to front desk multiple times still no wifi. I found the front desk clerk sleeping on the couch in the lobby more than once. We asked for a delayed check out and he told me I had till 11:30 or they would charge a late fee. He called at 11 wanting to know if we were out. I reminded him he gave me to 11:30. All interaction was not good. Unless you just need a night to sleep, DO NOT stay there!

The place looked much nicer on Trivago, so I was shocked to see the state of the place upon arrival. The elevator was out of service, of which we were not notified in advance. There are large holes in the wall in the lobby. The room was damp with poor ventilation, and a swamp cooler that needed a new filter because it stunk something awful when we turned it on. We had to leave the bathroom window cracked to ventilate the room. On that note, there was visible black mold in the bathroom from the poor ventilation. The toilet also required multiple flushes each time. We were there for a festival, so we did not spend much time in the hotel. Comfy bed, and the room was clean. That made it doable for the weekend, but for anyone staying longer or requiring ADA accessibility, this is NOT the place for you. It was very close to the lightrail and good food within walking distance, but not a pleasant place to stay. I would choose the Little America across the street instead.

The sink was broken and leaking and the staff didn't ofter any compensation or a solution. We had to ask it they could at least give us a later check out for the inconvenience to which they finally agreed on giving us just a one hour later check out. There was a burn mark on the sheet, a hole in the bathroom door, dirt marks on the chair and the fridge was dirty. Unacceptable conditions for over $100 a night. Overall very disappointed in the room condition and even more disappointed in how the staff reacted to the situation.

Comfy bed, clean shower. Perfect place to crash after a busy day touring SLC.
