I’d read quite a few poor reviews about this hotel, but our experience upon arrival was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly, and the room we stayed in on the third floor was also lovely, clean and well-equipped.
We had a very comfortable stay! The young man at the front desk (I believe his name was Adi?) was so friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel welcome. The area is convenient and we felt fine walking at night.
This budget accomodation met my expectations.
This place was the interesting, no outlets worked in the bathroom or by coffee pot, they require a 100 cash deposit which is the weirdest thing I've ever had to do. They could use a good power washing of the walls and walkways outside, at least no bugs anywhere in the room. The beds are ok but pillows are flat. Feels like it should be an hourly hotel if you know what I mean. And my room key quit working in the morning
The price was great, especially for being within walking distance of so many parts of SLC. However, it is important to note that there were a lot of pieces missing from the hotel room. There were no side table lamps and only one plug in the room. Only a single chair at a small table filled in the space beside the bed, and a mini fridge with a microwave stacked on top. The room was clean, and the bathroom had been recently updated. Definitely get what you paid for.
