Hôtel Mystic

I’ve stayed at the Palihotel West Hollywood and thought this would be a similar experience, but it wasn’t. To start with, the room was not very clean, we saw multiple hairs in the floor from previous guests and the robe’s sleeves were dirty, like it had been used and not washed. Then when we used the toilet for the first time, it clogged and started to overflow. There was no phone in the room and we had no way of sending sms due to having only a data plan, so we had to go to the reception and announce the situation. They sent an amazing man to solve the problem and he did it super quick. If you are looking for a unique, charming experience like the other Palihotels, I don’t think this is the one for you. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Got bait and switched when booking a king suite from the photo on the website. Not all the king suites in fact come with a separate bedroom/living space with quarters and yet it’s what’s shown in the king suite photo. That was an essential reason for me for booking the room and felt I’d been misrepresented what I was being shown. And because they were all booked, they couldn’t get me into one of the rooms that actually reflected the photo. And the room I got was across from the elevator and was loud all night. Not as accommodating as other hotel experiences in the area. A bit less customer friendly. I’ve stayed at other palihotel and had better service.

I stayed for three nights in January. The interior room had no wardrobe or place to put my suitcase. The first day, they didn't send the maid because I had to request her. I requested her, and she didn't come the second day either. They charged me $100 in taxes, which wasn't clear when I made the reservation. The location is fine, and the only noteworthy thing is that they provide a very nice bathrobe.

Interesting, older hotel with a fun bar & restaurant. There's a bit of a drug-abusing homeless situation nearby... but nothing violent. I usually stay at the nearby Hilton for work trips but the nightly price was outrageous so I looked around and wasn't disappointed. I really liked this hotel and will be back.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Union Square! 5 stars all around. Staff was friendly, rooms were well stocked and clean, and the bar/restaurant on location was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Truly loved my stay here at Pali Hotel SF. Amazing location right in Union Square, easy to get around and walk everywhere. Staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. From the clean room to the beautiful aesthetic design of the entire hotel, this is a must stay spot! I will definitely be back.
