Our stay at the Pali Hotel San Francisco was sub par. We had to move rooms 3 times due to noise issues with the air conditioning system which didn’t even work properly anyway. Although the staff did assist us with this they were painful to deal with and generally didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the hotel. They also tried to charge us extra to swap to another room after they had offered it and. we had already moved our bags to it stating they forgot to mention this. We objected to this and luckily the charge was waived. The hotel is very old and not well maintained, with only 1 lift to service the entire hotel. Would not return.

This is our 3rd time staying here and we’ve always had a great experience! The first time we stayed it was owned by someone else who isn’t the current owner. Things have changed but we’ve had no complaints. The parking garage is near by the hotel. The location of the hotel is good too. We love the bar at the Pali, great bartenders. This time around we noticed the bar, which used to be a restaurant and bar, now focused on oysters and drinks. They made the area smaller too. Something that we’re grateful for is the price for a stay! Compared to other hotels around that area and for how cute Pali is, it’s great. The rooms are clean and amenities are good. The one thing I believe they can work on is getting rid of the cable and get smart tvs for apps or somehow adding apps on the tvs such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. Not a huge deal but nowadays most hotels have those options. Our experiences have been great so far, which we want to hopefully in the future stay at the other locations they have in California and so on!

Nightmare fuel of a hotel. I used to live above a bar so I wasn't that concerned about the reviews saying how loud this place was but it was unbearable. All the insanely loud sounds were somehow amplified in my room. Couldn't really sleep the two nights I stayed. I was also locked in my bathroom because the door got stuck because of a design flaw. It's really really dangerous and it's obviously a recurring problem. When I told the front desk they didn't even flinch. Horrible stay, absolutely avoid this place

Super charming hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! My room was cozy, but perfect for 2 nights while in town for work. This was a really nice change from your typical big chain hotel!
