Almaden Quicksilver County Park

We’ve been hiking at this park for years, and we love it. No matter which entrance you use, there are good hikes: short or long, easy or difficult; and there are always beautiful views to be seen. One of our favorites is Deep Gulch to the top of Mine hill where there is a picnic table with great views. The trails even connect to Sierra Azul Open Space; we’ve hiked from the Hacienda entrance to the top of Mt.Uhmunum.

This park has great trails for hiking. The trails have shades, scenics views, wild flowers, and wildlifes: titmouse, yellow-dumped warblers, woodpeckers, California quails, rabbits, and snakes. One word, interesting, not boring trails. I spent over two hours, took some interesting photos. A good place for family and friends outdoor light hiking.

Lovely Park a few somewhat challenging climbs but not too bad. Plenty parking, public bathrooms, great paths, well kept.

A spectacular place for hiking, walking with good company, or simply connecting with nature. The lake and the views are beautiful; I enjoy the sound of the streams.
