Great hotel with lots of charm and friendly staff. Great location. Rooms are super cozy. Total repeat.

Perfect location in the heart of Santa Fe. Completely enjoyed staying here. The rooms were large and comfortable.

Arrived in time for freeze warning and cooler temperatures. The first night I was freezing and could not sleep. I went to front desk and was told they had switched HVAC to AC and no heat was available. A space heater was given to me. The heater help warm the room less the 10%. Sleeping, dressing and bathing was difficult. The furniture is old and dated, not in a historical way but in a bad garage sale way. You can see daylight thru front and back doors which do not help with climate control. The women who worked at the front desk were attentive but there was not much they could do to help. The young gentleman during the day was surly and acted like he did not want to be there and certainly expressed no concerns regarding my rationale for checking out early. Housekeepers and handyman were great. I check out early because I could not stand another freezing night in my room. Parking was easy and the hotel was close to everything, Slow and Lo Pizza was good with friendly but really busy staff. This hotel was very expensive and a big let down. Would not recommend ro go again.

Room is like a walk-in cooler. Projected low temperature tonight is 34 degrees and the buildings HVAC system can only run in AC mode, no heat. Every step taken by guests in room above reverberates in our room. Upstairs toilet flushing water is loud in the wall behind our bed. Bathroom is extremely small. Small fridge in living area rattles like crazy. Not worth the cost.

I paid alot to be close to downtown. I was excited til I got a room with a large staircase and adjoining room. I had to be careful not to fall. I had to put chairs and table in front. I feel.like I got half a room but the hotel is amazing and old and beautiful.

This hotel is not a bad option if you like a vintage 1970’s southwest vibe. It has great character and is charming with a really helpful friendly staff. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the fireplace in the room is a great experience! Only downside is the TV is super small and the shower head aren’t the best. It’s a little tired and aged in spots but overall a great location and great charm with friendly staff and cleanliness.

We stayed at the hotel for the first time after many trips to Santa Fe. It happens to be located in a very nice area just north of the town Square. Great parking. The room was nice enough, the beds were comfortable and clean. It’s a very old building very historic in Santa Fe terms. Best of all the low and slow bar and pizza restaurant is located on the main floor attach to the hotel. Just so happens this is one of our favorite little spots in Santa Fe. We had some fantastic drinks and pizza there. We will definitely come back. The staff was very friendly.

First room had outside closure gap of at least sn inch top and bottom and 1/2 inch on closure side, to the outside environment. During winter month and front desk had to be prompted to get a room change.
