JW Marriott Tampa Water Street

Our King spa room was stunning- wrap around views, sparkling clean, well appointed, incredible marble bathroom with soaking tub - spa amenities in bath and spa feeling to room overall. The hospitality staff was also a complete standout from check in to check out to room service all friendly, upbeat, so helpful - especially Sheldon who took our in room dining order, called to check all was ok and then remembered us when we called from the airport about an item left behind and was beyond kind and helpful and assuring - just remarkable for a completely booked high volume property, to feel taken care of like a boutique experience . We have stayed in fine hotels and resorts worldwide and felt our experience at JW Marriott Tampa met highest standards! A lovely experience.

We’ve stayed at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street a dozen times over the years, especially when we’re coming in and out of Tampa, and it has consistently been a great experience. We absolutely love Marriott, and this location is one of our favorites. The service is always excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everyone goes above and beyond to make each stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is great, and it’s always nice knowing we’ll have a comfortable and reliable stay when we’re in Tampa. After staying here so many times, it truly feels like one of our go-to hotels. We highly recommend the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and will definitely continue coming back!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at the JW Marriott for one of the most memorable moments of our lives—our engagement. From start to finish, the level of hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care we received was exceptional. Mr. West, in particular, went above and beyond to help make the experience truly special. His professionalism, generosity, and expertise did not go unnoticed and played a meaningful role in creating a memory my fiancée and I will cherish forever. The property itself was beautiful, but it was the people and the level of service that truly made our stay unforgettable. Everything came together perfectly, and we could not have asked for a better setting or experience for such an important occasion. We are now planning our wedding and hope to continue our relationship with the JW Marriott as we begin planning accommodations for our guests. After the experience we had during our engagement, we would recommend the JW Marriott without hesitation to anyone celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an exceptional stay. me and my friends have been going to this hotel for years during the summer to go to conventions and i don’t think we’ve ever had a bad experience here.the hotel lobby feels very clean and looks very nice and has plenty of elevators as well. the rooms are clean and spacious and the TV in the rooms is good too, you can use youtube, netflix, etc. on the TV in the room which is sweet. i definitely recommend this hotel and i look forward to returning here in the future! one strange thing to mention about the rooms is the fact that the bathrooms in the rooms don’t have locks on them for some reason 😂😂

I can't believe that this place even exists anymore. I checked in. They took $55 for me to park my car here. I am a platinum star member of Marriott. I checked into the 25th floor all I wanted to do was get one drink with my wife. I wanted to go up to 27th floor not open. It's 4 o'clock, okay, no big deal. Wait until 4:15. Place opened up. My friends went up there. I had tickets that were not working correctly. So I had to go and fix that. I came back. My friends went up there now all of a sudden. They will not let us up to meet our friends then. Security gets called then I get kicked out and I don't get my money back and they kick me off on the side of the street. I paid $500 for this room. Don't go to this place. Stay away.
