Il Normandy Hotel, su Wyoming Avenue Northwest, sembra una grande e antica casa georgiana, ma all'interno è tutto comfort moderni. È un ottimo punto di partenza per esplorare la città, non da ultimo perché il quartiere è davvero accogliente. Troverete una camera confortevole e ci sono cibo e bevande in loco, quindi non dovrete allontanarvi troppo se non volete. Hanno fatto un buon lavoro nel mescolare la struttura antica dell'edificio con le esigenze attuali, il che è ottimo se vi piace un posto con personalità che sia anche comodo in cui soggiornare. Se siete in città per lavoro, per divertimento o per esplorare la scena queer di DC, questo posto sembra una scelta sicura. DC è vivace tutto l'anno per i visitatori LGBTQ+. C'è una vera comunità qui, oltre ai soliti musei e intrattenimenti. Scegliere un hotel apertamente gay-friendly rende l'intero viaggio più facile.

The Taft Bridge Inn is a beautiful gem in a beautiful city. A classic, calm and cozy place to stay on any visit to DC. The owner Yoshia and her staff do a great job, creating a warm home for visitors to enjoy their stay. P.S. So sad to just learn, from Yoshia, that the Inn closed two years ago. I had called to stay there for an upcoming visit to DC. This is one of those changes in life you wish would never happen. I will cherish my memories of the Taft Bridge Inn.

An outstanding B&B near Dupont Circle, this beats staying in a hotel hands-down. The rooms are beautifully decorated and breakfasts are gourmet quality. This historic home feels very welcoming and the friendly staff go out of their way to offer thoughtful service. Five stars!!
