O Queer Lisboa é o principal festival internacional de cinema queer de Portugal, dedicado a exibir filmes que exploram sexualidades e identidades gay, lésbica, bissexual, transgênero, transexual, intersexo e outras não normativas. Fundado em 1997, é o festival de cinema mais antigo de Lisboa e ganhou reconhecimento internacional por sua programação curada e atividades diversas.
Os participantes podem esperar um rico programa de exibições de filmes competitivos e não competitivos, abrangendo longas-metragens, documentários e curtas-metragens. Além das ofertas cinematográficas, o festival sedia uma variedade de eventos paralelos, incluindo workshops, masterclasses, debates, conferências e exposições de arte. O festival tem como objetivo fomentar o pensamento teórico em torno de temas queer e promover o cinema queer português.
O evento transforma Lisboa em um vibrante centro cultural, atraindo cineastas, artistas e públicos de todo o mundo. As exibições e eventos acontecem em diversos locais pela cidade, oferecendo uma mistura única de exploração cinematográfica e imersão cultural. O festival também inclui um Prêmio do Público para Melhor Filme em suas seções competitivas.
